First (not so) day

Three years ago

The two separated from each other as they made eye contact. Amity stared into Luz's eyes and felt herself melting. But then she looked at her window and saw her reflection from behind Luz. She slapped a hand to her mouth as she let out a quiet gasp.

"Amity..Wha-"

"I-I'm sorry! I-I-I don't know what came over me!" Amity turned away from Luz as she felt a slight panic rising. She nearly forgot who she was..She's not some regular witch from the Boiling Isles! She's a Blight. She couldn't just be with whoever she wanted..Let alone a girl!...

...And especially a human.

"Amity it's oka-" Amity stood up and Luz did the same.

"I-I'm...T-That kiss..I-It meant nothing! O-Okay..?"

Amity looked down at the floor as she rubbed her arm. Luz gave the girl a sympathetic smile, "Hey, it's okay! I should respect your boundaries, so I'm sorry." Luz put her hands on Amity's shoulders. Amity looked at her, "Don't be sorry! I'm sorry!"

"Okay, we're both sorry, how does that sound?" Luz smiled, "We can just forget this every happened..deal?" Amity smiled a bit, feeling a bit relieved that Luz wasn't weirded out.

"Deal."

"Luz! Are you ready?!"

Luz snapped out of her daze as she looked into the mirror. She was currently in the bathroom as she got ready to go back into Hexside. It had been a week since Luz had came back and a week of Eda trying to make Principal Bump (which was pretty easy-) let Luz come back in.

So now today was her first day!

And she couldn't be anymore excited!....Well, it'll be more exciting if she went in early.

"Coming!" Luz said as she got out the bathroom and headed downstairs. Once she gather her things, Eda turned around and saw the girl. "My my, I gotta say I love the new look. Makes you look badass." Luz giggled a bit, "Thanks Eda, it's nothing special though."

"I, for one, love the glob on her head!" King butted in as he sat on the counter. "Thanks, King. But this is a beanie! It's like a hat." Luz smiled as she fixed the beanie on top of her head. "Alright, here's your lunch. Get going before you miss your little girlfriend." Eda said as she handed Luz a brown bag.

Luz looked at her confused, "Girlfriend?"

"Now, come along before you're late." Eda said as she led Luz to the door. "Bye Luz!" King waved. Once Luz was out the door, she waved at Eda. "See ya, kid!" Eda said as she closed the door. "ByE LuZ!" Hooty said. Luz laughed a bit, "See you later Hooty!" She began to walk to school.

Gus said as Luz approached him, Willow, and Amity (surprisingly). "Hey guys! I just got my schedule, seems pretty fun!" Luz smiled as she held her schedule up. Willow and Gus 'awed' in excitement as they took the schedule from Luz to look. "Oh my gosh! We have Construction and Oracle together!" Gus squealed a bit.
