"Okay, so."
Luz had a plan....or at least she thought she had one. First off, Luz tried to cast a spell with her bare hands. It's been at least four hours since Luz tried casting spells with just her hands...
....And boy was it taking a long time.
"Kid, stop it before you hurt yourself. You look like you're constipated." Eda butted in as she walked into her kitchen. Luz grunted again, "But I'm almost close! I can feel something..."
"Yea, and I don't want that something on my floor." Eda said as she put her hands on her hips, "What spell are you casting anyways?" Luz tried concentrating, "I am trying to cast a light spell first, so I could get a feel of doing other spells." "Luz, I'm not trying to get your hopes down but, humans can't do magic." Eda explained.
"I have to disagree with that one, Boss. I did an Oath spell on me and Amity before I left." Luz said as she waved her finger around. Eda looked at King as she raised her eyebrow. "You don't say.." Eda approached Luz, "Luz..Have you ever, oh I don't know, considered the thought that...Strong emotions might help you cast spells?"
Luz stopped, "What? That's ridiculous! I just needed to think hard about it and I'll cast it!" She, then, went back to what she to focusing.
Eda slapped a hand to her face as she looked at her dense student.

Amity finally got up from her bed and went downstairs to find something to snack on. She had to admit...she felt a bit numb.
Okay..not a bit..A lot actually.
She felt as if there was this ticking bomb waiting to be set off in her body. She knew part of why she felt this way, but the other half she couldn't put a finger on it.
As Amity made her way into the kitchen, she ran into Emira. "Hey baby sis! I'm really happy to see you out your room." Emira smiled. Amity playfully scoffed, "Oh trust me, I'm going back in. Don't get used to this."
"Still, it's a sign." Her sister beamed. "A sign for?" Amity asked. "Emira, they didn't have extra yarn- Oh! Hey Mittens! I'm so glad to see you out." Edric walked into the kitchen. Amity grabbed a whole cereal box and starting eating, "You too, don't get used to it."
Amity began to walk out and suddenly was stopped. "Amity..It's about time you stopped this nonsense."
Amity looked up at the steps and saw her mother and father blocking. "There's...there's no nonsense happening, mother.." Amity sulked a bit. "Don't be ridiculous child. You have been sulking in your room all day because of that...human. " Mrs. Blight said.
"You shouldn't let someone from a low standard ruin your reputation." Mr.Blight butted in.
"B-But...She wouldn't.." Amity said quietly. Her parents went further down the steps. Mrs. Blight came closer to her youngest. Emira and Edric, suddenly heard what was going on and stood next to the kitchen door.
"Now Amity, darling. We both know she isn't top tier like us. She's just some human who is trying to fit in with us. But let's be realistic..She will never become a witch." Mrs. Blight smiled. "Don't you understand, dear?"
Amity felt the ticking bomb inside her ticking more...She felt a sudden rise, something she's usually never felt. "I-I..." She tried calming herself a bit as she tried finding her words.
"We can't have someone like her distract you from your place in the Emperors Coven, now can we?" Mr.Blight said. "Ah yes, your father has a point. Someone like her could not distract you from your future. We will find you a nice man, one who will surely help you get rid of this...foolery."
Amity looked at her mother. Nothing was helping her calm down at this point. Edric and Emira could see something off about Amity...Something they've never seen before.
Mrs. Blight, continued, as she didn't pick up Amity's sudden mood change. "You are a Blight. And we Blights cannot be seen as freaks..So you getting involved with someone like...that human, will set off a very bad example of us-"
"Enough."
