Reiko's POV

I currently find myself in a position that no one would want to be in. Surrounded by a bunch of morons, I hoped that my brain cells didn't disappear. Patrick is the only sane person here. Nora, she was a... Logan was a lost cause. Savannah was like our mother. She was trying to keep Logan and Nora, who were snapping at each other, under control. I'm just glad Jeremy couldn't make it or else I would have snapped already.

We were all at the lake close to the pack house, Logan running around yelling and cussing at Nora who was in wolf form chasing him around. Savannah ran behind them trying to calm Nora down as Patrick and I sat on the edge of the lake, our feet submerged under the warm water and watching the scene unfold.

I lay back covering my eyes with my arm from the angry rays of the sun. My mind was elsewhere, just thinking. What could my mate be doing? Was he okay? Did he need anything?

My wolf was pacing, the distance from Liliano making him restless. He kept whining like a pup wanting to see their mother. He hasn't given me one moment of peace since we met Lila.

Lila. He's perfect. From his height to the mole beneath his eye. He was as perfect as they come. Even if he was a girl, or something else, he'd still be perfect. My eyes clench as I chase the image of his cute smile in the darkness. He has a lovely face. So delicate, stunning, rid of imperfections. So...mine.

I sit up quickly once I hear growls. Savannah suddenly shifts into her black spotted wolf and growls at Nora. Logan slouches behind her, clutching his side as blood oozes out of his wound. Patrick approaches them and starts cleaning him up. Future doctor we have here, eh. I roll my eyes after Logan sticks his tongue out at Nora. Upon realizing the playfulness between them, I lay back down.

"Guys, I have something to tell you," I state and ignore the fact that they all responded with 'What?' in both human and wolf form.

"You don't have to tell us. We know." Savannah cooes as she twirls a strand of my hair in her fingers after she pulls a shirt on. I don't bother pushing her away, knowing she would come back. I'm already used to it and so was everyone. That's just the way she is.

"Know what?" My eyes narrow at them. There's no way they know. I haven't said anything about it yet.

"That Lila's you mate." Savannah answers as she drapes her body over my back, her head hanging over my shoulder.

"Aha! I knew it!" Logan fist pumps the air with a laugh.

"It was pretty obvious," Patrick shrugs as he pulls his mate off of me.

"Was it really?" I ask, cursing Adrastos for his obviousness. Deep down I know it was all my doing as Liliano has mesmerized me with his beauty ever since the first moment I lay eyes on him.

"Of course it was. It looked like you were gonna bust a nut with even a glance at his direction." Nora says with a smirk covering her features.

"Nora!" Savannah scolds.

"It's true!"

"There's no need for foul language," Savannah says as she twirls her mate's fingers in her hands. I think she has a twirling habit.

"Fuck! I'm sorry- Oh shit! Motherfucking mouth I have, eh?" Nora smirks and I laugh. Savannah's eyes narrow ad she huffs. "Why don't you pass me some clothes, sweet pea,"

Savannah throws her bag at her and Nora dries off before dressing into some clothes. Nora then lays beside me, putting her head on my lap and making herself comfortable. Logan jumps up declaring that he has an awesome idea a few moments later.
