Tsukishima Kei was never too fond of public gatherings, it wasn't that he hated crowds or was socially awkward; he could muster up small talk and make his presence known if he wanted to do so. He had the looks and the charm, but the only slight defect was his salty personality.

Or so he had been told. Personally, he thinks he's fine.

The house was dimly lit, blue hues and purple tines danced across the skins of the little party present.

-Ok, scratch that, there were a lot of people present.

Tsukishima pulled his beige jacket closer in and looked around for familiar faces, purposefully skipping the green-haired boy in the distance talking to the other two; the freak-duo.

He noticed that the host of the party had been none other than Akaashi-san; who stood near the table full of colourful drinks and other condiments wearing a huge hoodie and ripped jeans. How he was related to Oikawa-san, he didn't know.

It was at the very least, very awkward for him; he had never had a conversation with the birthday boy, only knew that he was a friend of a friend.

Well, friend of a boyfriend really, he pushed his glasses up at the thought, really wasn't anything that serious-

"Surprise!!!"

The entire room burst once the door creaked open, Tsukishima had his own little birthday popper which he pulled a second later; there was confetti everywhere and a very shocked person stood at the doorway.

"W-what?"

Oikawa, the blond noticed, had changed a lot, his childish face was gone and in its place was a mature and very adequate adult image; a chiseled face with deep set eyes, his hair was gelled back and the suit he was wearing radiated the perfect air of business.

The only oddity was his current image - he was being enveloped in a giant hug by Akaashi-san and Bokuto, along with other strangers in the room.

Kei rubbed his neck and looked about awkwardly, not knowing what to do, there was one more thing he noticed about the birthday boy as he saw him get wished by the other people in the room.

His smile was... different. He looked very different; his resting face was.... Distressed.

"Kei." He looked around and saw his boyfriend with a cup of something come towards him, slightly grinning and blowing the strands of hair on his face away.

Tsukishima aided by gently pushing the strands away, returning the affectionate expression to him.

"Let's try to have some fun at this party, okay?"

The blond looked around and his eyes caught the freak-duo competing against each other to see who can down the drink in their hand faster; he briefly noticed the loud Bokuto join despite Akaashi's quiet protests.

Another guest had already gotten drunk and was leaning heavily against Oikawa-san, who held a high flush onto his cheeks, looking about nervously.

Tsukishima sighed, tonight was going to be a pain.

ANGST??? ANGST.

Tobio enjoyed the party to an extent, he had a few drinks, talked to a couple people here and there and even had to calm drunk Hinata down.

He learned never to go drinking with Hinata in public.
