enjoy me amores (¬‿¬)

Iwaizumi wasn't as drunk as he looked, it took him at least ten drinks to fuck him up, and he had only had seven. But thanks to that, he didn't lose his way, he kept up the drunk act because....

Well, why did he do that?

He shook his head, sometimes, his own actions bewildered him.

Back then, Iwaizumi didn't know what he was saying, at the back of his mind, a voice screamed rebuttals for every word that came out of his mouth, but his heart gave way.

He knew about Oikawa, everything about him, their shared but locked childhood, their old friendship, he knew them all - or at least some of it.

He was also the only one who saw Oikawa break down on the bridge floor the previous day. He saw the younger male clutch onto the rail as if his life depended on it, how he could see the silent plea in his eyes, "Please, somebody... help me."

But all Iwaizumi could do was watch from his window, frozen.

Here he was, holding Oikawa, the man he looked up to, the only man he acknowledged his inferiority to, the man who he secretly-.

In the midst of him comforting the man in his arms, a shaky voice spluttered through.

"P-please don't l-leave me." He heard a broken whisper. It gnawed him inside to see Oikawa broken like this.

Why? Why didn't he notice sooner?

The thing is, he did, he just didn't know what to do.

So he hugged him tighter, tighter than ever, for all the times he wasn't there by his side, for all the times he wished he was with Oikawa and for all the times he wished he could've spent more time with him.

"Tooru," he said, "Let's go home."

Iwaizumi felt Oikawa's hands unfurl from behind his back, he pulled out Iwaizumi's hanky and wiped his face, gently blowing his nose and sniffing. Iwaizumi pushed back his brown hair.

"Let's go home."

He pulled Oikawa to his feet and dragged him by the hand, moving him forward while he steered. It was a fifteen minute walk and if either of them spoke, it wasn't needed.

They finally reached a grey and black apartment, it wasn't too fancy and it reached up to at least ten for twelve stories up, so it was quite big.

They entered the lobby, the whole time their hands were entwined, Iwaizumi would be lying if he said it didn't affect his heart in the slightest. He felt a beat skip when Oikawa squeezed his hands; such a small thing, such a big reaction.

He squeezed them back.

I'm a CEO of a company for fuck's sake! WHY AM I SO FLUSTERED?!

Oikawa led him to the elevator and they shared a quiet ride up to the third floor.

There was an awkward silence between them.

"Sorry..." said Oikawa, barely above a whisper.

"For what?" Iwaizumi was confused.

"You had to go through the annoyance of seeing me break down," he sniffled, "You could've just walked away ya know?" He softened the harshness of his words with a half-hearted grin.

"No."

Oikawa looked at him.

"I will never walk away from you."
