"Thank you for your work. I'll see you once I've read the bases."

Oikawa was back in his office the next day, the usual documents on his desk along with his laptop, the months financial database pulled up and among them a few advertisement posters.

He was wearing his uniform suit and his glasses were plopped on his concentrated face; he had woken up that day with a slight headache and decided against his contacts, choosing to wear his dark blue frames instead.

But the truth was, he couldn't really sleep, he was too excited to see Iwaizumi, he was too excited for his date later that night.

He grinned at the remembrance of last night's conversation, a deep blush taking over his face and he looked down, his hands falling away form the keyboard.

Hmmm... what am I going to wear?

A million options ran around his head as he leaned back in his chair, hearing it creak under his weight, looking up at the high raised ceiling in contemplation.

Iwaizumi had arrived in the office at his usual time that morning, glancing sparingly at Oikawa before heading to his office.

But it was enough to make Oikawa's heart skip a few painful beats.

The brunette looked ahead, still in deep thought when he heard the slightest knocks on his door. Sitting up straight he pressed down on a button to allow the recipient in. He was busy shoving papers aside that he didn't almost recognise the woman in front of him.

It was the woman who had asked him to lunch a long time ago.

Wait, was it this one? Or was it someone else entirely different-

"O-Oikawa-san?"

Yep, it's her. The woman's nervous whisper convinced Oikawa and he smiled warmly at her, "Yes... How may I help you?"

"Um, these documents; I was sent to give them to you, for your consent before processing..."

"Ah, yes," he said, "From Mitsukuni Sasaki-san, right? Sure, give them."

He felt her shiver very slightly when their hands brushed, the gesture very small but not indistinct.

Oikawa felt her gaze on him while he flipped through the document, he tried to ignore the burn of it but it only seemed to become more and more warmer.

He glanced up momentarily, but instantly regretted it once he met her hazel eyes, the same ones he lied to a few weeks ago. Guilt pierced him and he looked away, slightly flustered.

Say something to her, it's way too awkward.

But what if it makes things worse.

He signed the blank spaced hastily and looked back her with a small smile, but she had turned red, her eyes flickering between the documents and the brown iris' behind the lenses.

"T-thank you." She breathed out softly and took the documents, a slight tremble in her hands.

"No problem, thanks for bringing them up."

Just smile and ignore.

He watched her as she timidly made her way to the door, then, once he was sure she would leave, he turned his attention back on the table on his screen, immediately engrossing himself with the digits that swirled in his vision.

Three hundred last Friday... wait, three hundred and two?

He frowned, bringing his fingers up to his chin, trying to focus, but a slight whimper form the door caught his attention. Oikawa pushed his glasses up as he saw the woman still at the door, standing still.
