The Game

ROSES POV

I quickly got ready and headed out the door. This was my first Blackhawks game ever! I could go if I wanted to but I do NOT wanna spend that much money on one ticket!

When I arrived at the United Center it was packed! I went to an open window to pay for my parking.

"Name please," The lady asked annoyed. Clearly she didn't want to be here.

"Rose Hill," I said trying to hand her the money.

"No need to pay. Mr. Kane has somewhere special for you to park," She said pointing to a guy who was clearly going to give me directions to where I was going.

He led me to a secret parking garage that was barely visable.

I got out and it led me straight into the UC.

When I got in there I asked the lady by the entrance where my seat was. She lead me to it and it was right by the Blackhawks bench.

What am I gonna do with him?

20 minutes later all the players started to skate out one by one. When I seen Kane my stomach did flips.

I watched them warm up and then waited for the game to begin. Kane was starting so I didn't get to see him until he switched out with another player.

"You came?" He said through the glass with a big smile on his face.

"Of course! I never have been to one of these games before!" I said excitedly.

"Well now that I know you're here it's time for me to get a goal," He said giving me a wink before skating back onto the ice.

Within two minutes he scored a goal and the crowd irrupted into screams.

He came back in with a smile on his face.

"I told you," He said biting his lip.

I took a second to just stare at his perfectly plump lips that I truly wanted to kiss.

"Did you know you stare at my lips a lot?" He asked blushing looking at the ground.

Now it was my turn to blush.

"Errrrr" I said looking away.

"Don't worry it's cute!" He yelled going back onto the ice.

With a snap of my fingers the game was over and the hawks had won in overtime!

Kane's told me to wait by the exit until he was done taking a shower and getting changed. I did as I was told and within a half an hour he was out.

He was holding something behind his back.

"What's behind your back?" I asked trying to get a peek.

"Oh it's actually for you," He said handing a puck to me.

"It was the one I scored for you," He said blushing looking away.

"Did you know you are really cute when you blush?" I asked blushing myself.

"No I didn't but I know you are," He said poking my cheek.

"So what are we doing now?" I asked looking at the ground.

"Well, I am a bit hungry. Do you maybe wanna grab a bite to eat?" He asked unsure of my answer.

"I would love to," I said smiling at him.

"Aweesome! Where do you wanna go gorgeous? Err. I don't mean to come off to forward its just when you have a beautiful girl in front of you its hard not to make comments and I am just gonna stop talking now," He said turning the car engine on and buckling up his seatbelt.

"Hmm.. taco bell?" I asked not wanting to REALLY go out.

"Sounds good to me!" He said driving in the direction to the nearest taco bell.

PATRICKS POV

I can't believe I just called her gorgeous. I really need to learn how to keep my mouth shut. She probably thinks I am some creep. I mean I just met her. It's not like I like her or anything.

The rest of the car ride to taco bell was silent. I am glad she picked here because honestly I didn't really wanna GO OUT go out. I just wanted to keep it local, grab a bite, then go home.

"So what do you want?" I asked her as we waited in line.

"I'm not really THAT hungry so probably just 3 hard shell tacos," She stated.

"Sounds good to me," I said giving her a quick smile.

When we got our food I decided that I wanted to get to know her better than I do so why not ask some questions.

"So do you have any siblings?" I asked taking a bite out of my burrito.

"Um, no I don't. At least i don't think so," She said looking away.

"Don't think so? What is that supposed to mean?" I asked confused by her statement.

"Um, not to be rude or anything but I just met you and I really don't feel like talking about it right now. Its a soft subject and I would appreciate it if you just let it be," She said taking a bite of her food.

"Of course. I didn't mean to make you upset, really! I was just like 'Hey! I wanna get to know this girl better!' but I will stop completely fine with me." I said looking down.

I really didn't mean to hit a soft spot on her. I mean of course I am curious now about what happened but its not like I can push a girl I just met a couple days ago.

When we finished I drove her back to UC where she left her car.

I got out of my car to walk her to hers.

"You really don't have to do this. You have done WAY to much for me these past few days!" She said insisting me to go back.

"Thats rude to just leave you so yes I do have to this. Anyway, I really hope I see you again. Like really soon." I said giving her a hug.

She was kind of hesitant towards the hug but finally she gave in and hugged me right back. She smelt like lavender.

"Goodbye for now Mr. Kane," She said as she got into her car.

"Goodbye for now Ms. Hill. Goodbye for now," I whispered as I slowly walked back to my car.
