"Another one please," I said as I sipped my last gulp of beer.
"Sure thing, Rose." Said Matt the bartender.
I looked around the room as I waited for him to return. It was more like a hall than a room but for my sakes lets call it a room.
There were drunk bodies everywhere. The place reeked of alchohal and, of course, there was music blasting through your body. Yes, body.
When Matt returned I gave him a quick thanks and got up.
I made my way through the bodies of all the people in search of a restroom.
I made my way through with echos of excuse me's and pardon me's.
"And where are you going pretty lady?" Said a random guy slapping my ass.
"None of your buisness, now get out of my way," I said grabbing his arm and flipping him onto the table near by.
"Damn, who the hell are you?" The guy asked grabbing his arm.
"Somebody not to mess with, now excuse me," I said stepping over him and finally finding the bathroom.
When I got out everyone moved out of my way.
"Woah, did you really just beat up Patrick Sharp?" A person asked looking at me like I was crazy. Was that Patrick Sharp? As in like Chicago Blackhawks? Probably not.
"Well if that who that guys was that I flipped over was, then yes," I said rolling my eyes and walking away.
I walked outside the main door as the Chicago breeze kicked in. I pulled my thin swestshirt around me tighter trying to get a taxi.
It felt like I was waiting forever.
Finally, a taxi pulled up and asked me where to.
"427 State Street, Chicago Il." I said getting out my wallet.
When I got back into the house I quickly tied up my hair, brushed my teeth, and went to lay down.
Just as I was about to fall asleep there was a knock at my door.
I opened it up and there were 3 guys. One of the guys was the one from earlier. They all looked very familiar though.
"Heh um.. I'm really sorry about what my buddy Patrick did earlier. He really didn't mean any harm. You see, we all play for the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team," Said a tallish guy with blonde REALLY curly hair.
"Yes, I know who you guys are big fan. Oh and Sorry Sharpie I didnt even realize that was you! I just dont want people touching me," I said looking at the ground.
"I'm really sorry too. I shouldn't have touched you like that. When that happened you made me sober as sober can be," He chuckled.
I smiled at that.
"Wow, you have a pretty smile," Kaner said making me turn my attention to him.
"I know, anywaysss.. It has been a long night so I'm just gonna hit the hay. I'll see you guys on t.v." I said attempting to close my door.
"Wait, I never got to introduce myself properly. I'm Jonathan Toews," Said Jonny sticking out his hand.
"Thats fantastic Jonny. I mean I already knew that but thanks for the information. I actually have hockey practice myself tomorrow morning so I really need to go," I said closing the door before they could respond. Did that really just happen?
PATRICKS POV
"Did she just say she had hockey practice in the morning?" I asked stunned.
"I believe so Kaner," Said Jonathan chuckling.
"Shes hot and plays hockey?" I have to marry this girl," I said laughing but somewhat serious.
"Okay 1) You met her lile 2.6 seconds ago and 2) you will probably never see this girl again," Said Sharpie running a hand through his hair.
"I guess so," I said jumping into the driver seat of my car.
**The Next Morning**
"Patrick, wake up. We have to go to morning skate," Said Toews shaking me.
"What time is it? Why didn't my alarm go off?" I asked really confused.
"I don't know dude. Wheres your phone?" He asked looking around for it.
"I have no clue man. Must of dropped it last night," I said running my fingers through my blonde curls.
"Well didn't you get a tracker on it because you used to do this all the time?" He asked sitting at the edge of my bed.
"Yeah, you're right. I will stop by the store after morning skate. I'll be dressed in like 5 minutes," I said getting out of bed.
ROSES POV
I walked out of my front door with my hockey bag on my shoulder. I locked the door and was about to be on my way when I seen something shiny on the ground. I set down my hockey bag and picked up the thing that turned out to be a phone.
I unlocked the phone that thankfully didn't have a passcode on it. I went to the messages and seen the last person this person texted. It was.... Jonathan Toews?
Okay so its from one of the guys last night. It wasn't Jonny so it could be Kaners or Sharpies. I scrolled through the messages and seen that this guy was texting Sharpie. Well I don't think that Sharpie would be texting himself from a different number so that leaves Kaner.
My favorite player. Well this was definitely going to be an eventful day.
I sent a text to Jonathan to let him know I had found the phone.
PATRICKS POV
We were in the car when I heard Jonnys phone go off.
"Who's that, dude?" I asked turning into the United Center.
"Well I know where your phone went," He said texting away.
"Who found it?" I asked grabbing my hockey bag getting out of the car.
"That brown haired girl from last night. Apparently her name is Rose. She said she will meet us after morning skate. She has to go too," He said following me into the Center.
"This girl is freaking aweomse," I said.
"No wonder why Sharpie had some eyes for her," He said chuckling.
I didn't like what Sharp did to her. But she sure showed his ass up. Flipping him onto the table was the best thing I had ever seen.
"Come on lets go skate," Said Jonny making his way out onto the ice.
ROSES POV
I put on my gear and stepped onto the ice. I felt so free out there. Like I was flying.
"GIrls come together!" Said my coach, coach K. "I have some very exciting news for you guys that I think you are really going to like. So don't freak out but today we are going to practice at the United Center with the players from the blackhawks!"
Well there was a way to give him his phone back right?
