Roses POV

"Patrickkkkkk. My arms hurt so bad," I whined as we unpacked the last two boxes in to our house.

Madison and Corey were out on a date so we didn't bother asking them for help.

"We are done now so no need to complain, princess," Patrick said kissing me on the lips slowly.

"The house really is beautiful. Like ughhh. It's so perfect," I said smiling at him.

"Good because there are going to be a lot of memories in this house," Patrick said kissing my nose.

"I hope so. Wanna go out for dinner?" I asked throwing my hair up in a pony tail.

"Yes, we can go somewhere casual though. I really don't feel like dressing up. I mean I get dressed like 1,000 times a day most of the year sooo," Patrick Said huffing.

"Anything you want babe," I said wrapping my arms around his waist and laying my head on his chest. He placed his chin on top of my head and wrapped his arms around me.

"I could stay like this forever you know," Patrick hummed causing me to smile.

"I mean we could if you like," I said.

"I would love that but unfortunately we will die if we don't eat," Patrick said laughing.

I laughed going to grab my purse.

We walked out to get in our car and a group of paparazzi were outside.

"Rose! Is Patrick cheating on you?"

"Patrick, why did you suddenly get this new house?"

We got in the car and we couldn't hear the questions anymore.

"God that gets so annoying. Why does my boyfriend have to be a sexy famous hockey player?" I whined.

"I mean I don't have to be," He said shrugging his shoulders.

"I swear to god if you ever leave me I will cry myself to sleep every night for the rest of my life," I said seriously.

"Alright I guess I won't leave you," Patrick said winking at me.

I rolled my eyes at him and looked out the window into the sky.

"I always loved the stars," I said more to myself.

"Oh yeah? Why?" Patrick asked focusing on the road in front of him.

"I don't know. I guess I always liked thinking about how there has to be darkness for the stars to shine. It kinda reminds me of myself. Because I've been through a lot of dark in my past but I guess it's a big part of where I am now. I'm finally shining," I said.

"Well, if we're being honest, I saw you shining the first time I met you," Patrick smiled.

"The first time you met me you were drunk," I said laughing at him.

"Hey, I wasn't drunk. Sharp was drunk. But when you flipped him on that table oh my god, best day of my life," Patrick said laughing crazily.

"Well, what can I say? I don't like being touched if I don't know the person," I laughed.

"We're here you goofball. Let's go get dinner."

-

"Wow you're new house is so cool!"

We were currently having a house warming party. A lot of people were here so the house was getting a little crowded. I couldn't find Patrick anywhere.

"Excuse me, Andrew do you know where Patrick is?" I asked Shaw while he was getting food.

"No ma'am. I seen him a while ago with Jonny but they just vanished," Shaw said goofily.

I laughed and walked away still in search for my boyfriend.

After looking for a while I still can't find him so I sit on a love seat and start watching a movie that's playing in the living room.

22 Jump Street

It got to the poetry part and everyone was cracking up. It was good to see everyone here together and enjoying themselves. I made me realize how much I enjoyed my life now.

Just then Patrick came into the room and put the movie on pause. Everyone groaned and I gave him a confused look.

"Everyone. I have something I'd like to say," Patrick said.

"Rose will you please come here?"

I smiled slightly walking up to Patrick.

"What are you doing?" I said so only we could hear.

"As you guys know me and Rose have been seeing each other for a while now and it has been the best time of my life. I never want to lose her and I really hope she never wants to lose me," Patrick said. What the hell is going on?

"I am glad all of you guys are here today. You guys just aren't our friends. You guys are family. And all you guys were there when I asked Rose to be my girlfriend and you guys do going to be here for this," Patrick said getting down on one knee.

My hands flew over my mouth as tears formed in my eyes.

"Rose, this has been the best year of my life and I really want to make many, many more with you. I said this the first day I met you and I will say it again. I'm going to marry this girl. So, Rosaline, will you do me the complete honor of becoming my wife?"

By then I was balling my eyes out and I couldn't form words.

I just nodded my head and everyone cheered and Patrick got up and put the ring on my finger and hugged me.

"Did you really say you were going to marry me the first time you met me?" I asked him laughing.

"Yes, actually I did," He said causing me to smile.

"I love you Mrs. Kane," Patrick said leaning his forehead against mine.

"I'm technically not Mrs. Kane yet. But I do love you," I teased him.

"But you will be and that's what matters."

And he was right. That is all that mattered. He was the only person I have in my life that mattered. Sure I had friends, and sure I was going to have more but I finally found the one person who could make my life complete.

And it just happened to be Patrick Kane.
