"what is wrong with you?" casey yelled at adam as they got home to his room.

"i was nervous!"

"you were finally face to face with him and you decided to run away, you pussy!" casey punched adam in the arm.

adam ignored her, feeling ashamed at the foolish mistake he had made.

casey rolled her eyes with anger and stormed out of adam's hotel room to go find hers.

adam then sat there, alone, thinking of how stupid he was to run away from something so important.

lawrence.

"what the fuck.." adam said angrily to himself, burying his face in the palms of both of his hands.

he sat there for quite a while, thinking of how dumb he was. and how things could have gone if he wasn't such a coward.

but then he got off his couch quickly and scanned around the room.

then he grabbed his camera and headed out the door unexpectedly.

adam's feet crushed the ground as he ran down the halls of the hotel he were staying at.

he then ran out the front doors of the hotel and down the side walk.

where was he going?

he continued to try and catch his breath as he ran and ran.

then he finally slowed down and bent over.

"you must be in a rush?" a voice said.

adam looked up to see jasper again looking at him.

"oh, what's up?" adam said breathing heavily.

"nothing much, water?" jasper suggested, holding water toward adam's face.

"thanks." adam replied, grabbing it and chugging it down.

jasper watched.

"so where're you off to?" adam asked as he finished.

"oh, just going to the post office." 

"cool, cool." adam said, drinking more water.

"and you?"

"uhh.." adam thought aloud, "just to see a friend."

"oh, well. i hope i wasn't interrupting your jog there."

"well, no, i'm not in a rush." adam replied.

"well, i am, i need to be home soon, so i'm gonna go head to the post office, nice bumping into you again though." jasper told him.

"oh, you too."

then she walked away, holding her purse that had a small white dog in it.

adam shrugged oddly, and went on his way.

he ran and ran.

and he arrived.

to his destination.

the apartment complex that lawrence stayed in.

adam took a while.

he thought if this was the right thing to do.

but then he made up his mind and busted through the doors to find lawrence.

as he rose to the sixth floor, he ran down the halls quickly.
