larry's pov

i couldn't tell how long adam and i had sat there for without speaking to one and other.

but it was quite a while.

everytime i would look at him, he'd turn away.

and i'm not sure why.

i'm sort of still debating if i should be selfish and walk out of here without him.

but then again, i wouldn't want to do that to him.

"adam, we have to do something." i told him finally.

he shook his head.

i wasn't sure what that meant.

but i knew sitting there awkwardly wasn't going to get us out of there quickly.

"adam, i won't say it again, we have to do something." i stood up and announced.

"then do something." adam said.

"what?! i need your help, we need to think!"

"i have been thinking, but then i realize you're probably just going to leave me in here again." he told me.

i didn't know how to respond.

it felt like my heart was beating out of my chest.

i was so afraid.

and for why?

i didn't know why.

maybe i was afraid to betray him again.

"i'm not going to."

"yeah right, you did it before, you can do it again!" adam finally stood up and yelled toward me.

"i wanted to help you!" i yelled back.

"no you didn't! you would've if you really wanted to!"

"adam--"

"no! you left me on purpose and you know it!" he'd interrupted me.

"it's in the past."

"that doesn't make it okay, it still affects me to this day!" he'd yell once more.

"okay, i'm sorry."

"you've already apologized enough."

"well, what do you want me to do? huh?" i asked.

"i don't know, find a fucking key or something!" adam continued.

"you know, that's what i've been trying to do!" i yelled back.

"you're just standing there like a prick!"

"i'm thinking! okay?"

then adam rolled his eyes and sat back down.

he didn't look at me much after that.

and i didn't look at him.

i wasn't sure what to do.

randomly, adam had lifted his shirt and sneezed.

but when he did.

something wasn't right.

i noticed something marked on his body.

"adam, lift up your shirt again." i told him.

"what? why?"
