MY LUNA- Scrutinized [TANNERxLUNA]

Preparations

|LUNA'S POV|

She woke up to the sound of birds chirping, it smelt like fresh pine, the window was left open. This would usually freak out Luna but she was on the second floor of Tanners house so she was safe. She looked over to her phone and opened it 'Two missed calls from Clint and a text saying "I NEED TO TALK TO YOU." That's weird...eh I'll call him back later.' She got up and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. She brushed her teeth and while she was looking in the mirror she almost choked on the tooth paste as she saw the bruises were almost completely gone and that she had another needle prick on her neck. Her hair was a mess so she brushed it quickly to get a better look. Luna carefully touched her face 'it didn't sting did he fix me up?' As she thought that she heard a knock on the door.

|TANNER'S POV|

Tanner was up for a little before he decided to go back to sleep but then he heard the door bell ring. He groaned and quickly brushed his teeth and went to get it. While passing Luna's room he noticed she was still asleep. Tanner was wearing a grey tank top and grey sweat pants so he didn't want anyone that was business related at the door. He checked the peephole before opening and saw it was just the Niors with out their masks, they're close friends from his line of work.

(Quick A/N I don't know their real names besides the Niors so the names will be Oliver and Anna.)

Tanner opened the door as Oliver came in and shook his hand " hey Tanner long time huh?"

"Yeah too long, how are you guys?"
"We're good." Anna spoke "and what about you?"
"Oh ya know the usual." Tanner chuckled.
"Ok well are you coming to the ball Adam is throwing tonight?" The male Nior asked.
"Yea Im actually bringing someone too." He smirked
"Oh really! Who?! I would love to meet her." Anna said, you, wouldn't know but she was more on the bubbly side, besides the whole killing part...
"She's upstairs but I don't know if she's awake yet, can you go check? I need to talk to Oliver about something." Tanner wanted her to go for that he could ask Oliver about Clint. He was going to ask them both but Adam was closer to Oliver.
"Yea! But what's her name?"

"Luna." It went silent. "Luna Youngman?..." they both said looking at each other in confusion then back at Tanner. "Yea?.. is there a problem?"

"No, no it's just Adam had said that name before and something about a file."
"Ohhh no worries she's just a detective that was looking for the blue blood killer. I was going to kill her but then I noticed how good of a work ethic she had so... I gave her the file for the thing she was looking for." They understood and didn't seem to have a problem with it. While you walked to the kitchen with Oliver, Anna went upstairs to see Luna.

|LUNA'S POV|

Luna opened the door and saw a woman standing there. "H-hello." She smiled and walked in hugging Luna tight "you're so pretty, now I get why Tanner made the deal with Adam for you!" " T-thank you but who are you?" Luna was so confused 'why was this woman hugging me? And WHO is Adam?' "Oh I'm Anna, my husband and I work along side Tanner and for Adam. I hear that your coming to the party tonight so.. i was wondering if you wanted to come with me shopping for a dress tonight?" It all clicked in Luna's mind, and she was no longer confused but was a little on edge, if her and her husband work with Tanner and for Adam... ' IM IN A HOUSE WITH ALL MURDERERS' she was freaking out a little bit thinking of all the ways they could off her right then and there, but she kept calm and smiled as she accepted the offer. She put on her jeans and a sweater and left with Anna to shop.

While in the care Luna looked over to Anna and asked "hey uh...all the people at the party... are they all going to be.. uh.." "most likely yes, or worse." This made luna get even more worried, Anna noticed and tried comforting her "oh no don't worry. We'll take care of you, and thats why were going shopping for that you won't stick out. just don't go flashing around that your a cop." She smiled warmly and seemed to calm her down. "Thank you, I'm just a little scared. I want to be alive when they catch the guy who killed my cousin." "And What about after that? Is there anything else going on? Like you and Tanner?" Luna blushed, Anna noticed "aww so there is. That's cute. Well, we're here." As the car pulled over to the side parking Luna saw a fancy store. High end. 'Oh great I'm going to spend a lot. But it's worth it if I don't get killed.' They walked in and looked around for a while when Luna landed her eyes on one.

Luna picked it up, "ooo that's cute, how much?" "It's actually reasonable." Luna smiled and they both went to look at the shoes. As Anna pick out some green heels to match with her dress Luna got black heels with a red sole on the bottom. They went to pay which made aluja happy because she actually was happy with the things she bought and for the amount.

When they got back Tanner and Oliver weren't there. "They're out shopping for suits." Luna nodded and went to her room with Anna.

They talked for a bit when a knock came to the door "come in!" It was Tanner and Oliver. Tanner waved and Anna went to go give Oliver a hug. She smiled at the two of them 'They're so cute for murderers.'
Tanner walked over to Luna and sat next to her on the bed. "So how was your day?" He smirked. "It was nice, I got a red dress with heels." "Oh to match my tie huh?" Luna giggled "yea. I'm actually really excited to go tonight. I've never been to a ball before." Tanner kept his smile on his face and caressed her cheek. Oliver and Anna sat next to them on the bed when Luna got a call. "It's from Clint." Oliver and Anna noticed Tanner's angry/worried expression. Luna answered. "Hello?" "Hey Luna...where are you?" "I'm at a friends house, why? Is something wrong?" She looked back at Tanner and gave him a smile, which made him less tense. Luna noticed this and mouthed you ok? Which he just nodded to "No no it's just...who's the friend?..." She giggled a little "Tanner, wh-?" "GET OUT OF THAT HOUSE NOW!" They all heard it, as she looked back at them worried. "You're starting to freak me out Clint." "HES A MURDERER GOD DAMN IT!" She calmed down a little. "Oh, I already knew that Clint." A sigh of relief fell over the niors. As she wasn't bothered by that already known information. "NO NO LUNA LISTEN TO ME," a groan left Luna's mouth "I gotta go Clint cya ar-." "HE EATS PEOPLE! ALIVE!" Luna felt sick, 'I knew he killed people, but not that he eats them too...alive.' But she kept her composure "Goodbye Clint." She hung up and put a forced smile on her face. "Sorry for that. He was just worried." She chuckled and sat back down next to Tanner. "So what did you say?" Oliver looked over. "Oh just not to worry, I'm fine with Tanner." She looked next to her to see that Tanner finally fully relaxed.

He put his head on her shoulder and hugged her arm. "Ok, well we better get going. Cmon Anna." "Oh ok, see you guys later" she waved and closed the door on the way out. "Tanner." He looked up with doughy eyes, but Luna kept looking forward with a cold expression. "Why do you eat people?" He scoffed with a smile. "I don't know, I guess I just get hungry." "Yea but Have you ever thought about eating me?" Out of no where he pushed her down onto the bed and straddled her his member on top of where it would be on her. He bent down infront of her face. "Yes... but don't freak out , besides you look more tasty Than the others." He said while moving to her ear to whisper "In the cannibalistic way and a sexual way." It almost sounded like a growl at the same time. While he was biting her neck Luna managers to get out "Please don't...I-I" he covered her mouth before she could talk again. "don't worry doll. I'm not going to eat you. I'm not going to kill you either, but you'll have to make that up to me later."
