MY LUNA- Scrutinized [TANNERxLUNA]

|LUNA'S POV|

The car was filled with music, we sung along with the songs. I guess that's just our thing now. Singing in the car to the songs we love. I was as having fun and so was he. But he had to turn off the music for a minute when the doll maker called us. He put him on speaker. "Hello?" " hello Tanner, I'm sorry to bother you but I forgot to tell you something about Luna's health reports." We looked at each other before Tanner asked what. "You see I was looking through my notes and I noticed something... Luna is missing some.." he cleared his throat. "Meat.." I didn't know what to say to that but I felt sick, I held it in. Tanner exhaled sharply and asked him another question. "Were they vital organs?" "No no just 1 pound. I have no idea where it went but it shouldn't effect Luna. You could say she got a free surgery."

"So you're telling me that he took some of her muscle or fat?" "Yes." He thanked the doll maker about telling us and hung up. He sighed, "I don't know how to feel about that." He pursed his lips.
"Me neither.." I confessed. "But hey I'm fine right? So let's just pretend we didn't hear that until the weekend is over." I smiled and put on the music. He chuckled and nodded. "Alright."

It wasn't long before we got to the hotel. We checked in and went to our room. It was 9:00 and the party was at 9:30. We quickly got dressed and left to my parents house. Tanner was twitching is fingers on the steering wheel. "Are you nervous?" He looked over to me and a nervous chuckle came out. "Yea just a bit, how are your parents like?" "Don't worry they're nice people, they'll like you. Just be respectful and we shouldn't have a problem!" I smiled and he calmed down a bit. We parked outside and walked to the door. I held his hand, holding my purse in the other hand. He rang the door bell and my father answered. He looked confused at Tanner and as I went in for a hug. "Hey dad." He kept looking at Tanner, and patted my back as we hugged "hey pumpkin. Uh...who's this?" I smiled and went back to hold Tanners hand. "This is my boyfriend Tanner." He smiled and shook my dads hand "nice to meet you Sir." "Nice to meet you too Tanner." It was a bit awkward on my dads part, he was overprotective of me so I suppose it would be weird to see his daughter come home with a strange man he'd never met before.

He let us in and the nostalgia hit. "So where's mom?"
"She's upstairs getting ready. Maybe you should go see her while I stay back and talk to Tanner." I laughed and went upstairs. Tanner and my dad went to talk in the living room. Once I was at my parents room I knocked. "Come in!" I slowly turned the doorknob as my mom was looking in the mirror, she was wearing a beautiful white dress. She saw me in the reflection and turned to run and give me a hug. "LUNA!!" I hugged her back and giggled "Hey mom." She caressed my cheek and whispered "I missed you baby." She had the sweetest smile on her face. I held her had and whispered back "I missed you too." I kissed her cheek and told her happy birthday. She heard my dad talking downstairs. "Who's your father talking to?"

She gasped and shook me a little "Did you get a boyfriend?!!" Her smile was the size of the sun. I giggled again and blushed red "so what if I did?" She cheered "Oh Lord! Finally!" I laughed at her enthusiasm. It was cute. She hugged me so tight, to the point where my shirt crinkled a bit. It hurt a little with the cuts under it, I had to hold in the pain though. My mom let go, put on her heels and we headed down stairs. She was excited to meet Tanner.

|TANNER'S POV|

Luna had left me alone with her dad. He grabbed my shoulder and led me to the couch. I sat down on the big one and he sat in the one seat in front of me. "So tell me how did you meet my daughter?" Luna works at the police department, so I chose a good lie. I couldn't tell him I kidnapped his daughter and gave her the file on the blue blood killer, that would be awful. "We met after she caught the blue blood killer. I work in forensics and overheard the good news, so I invited her out to dinner." Her father was impressed. "So she really did catch him after so long?" I nodded and smiled at him. I could tell he was genuinely proud of his daughter. "Sarah would be very proud she caught him. Now she can Rest In Peace with all the others he killed."
