One Choice

After that we kept talking as Adam asked the men to follow him. While the women went upstairs and waited in a living room area.
"So..Luna, whats a girl like you doing with Tanner."
She sounded disgusted saying his name. "Tanner has helped me a lot, he even gave me information about who killed my cousin. After a few days I found out I really liked him." "Aww are you guys dating yet?" Anna asked, putting my full attention to them. "I don't know, I think we are." "What type of guy doesn't tell you the simple things? If you wanted to..." she was now rubbing my thigh "you can come with me. I can show you things." I felt uneasy being around her. It was like I was being drugged again, i felt violated. "No thank you," I smiled at her as she went closer. "Alright, well if you change your mind call me." She handed me a card and kissed my cheek. "Leave her alone Lydia." Anna chuckled, as Lydia smirked. "Oh cmon you know I'm playing, but I do have to admit, I miss you calling me sissy."

I blushed and read the card.
It was like any normal business card, 'is she being forced in to prostitution?' I put the card away, as they kept talking. "And what about Tanner? He won't like it when he finds out you talking to his date like that." Lydia rolled her eyes. "Like Im scared."
She giggled. "Why are you scared of him Anna?"
"No it's just that I've seen What he has done to..."
I was looking at her curious. "Finish the sentence Anna, Luna is waiting." "She already knows, look I'm just saying that I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of the things we do on the daily."
"Agreed." I said as Lydia just nodded "fair enough."

A body guard came behind us and told us that we can enter now. Once he opened the door we saw 5 people in chairs. Beaten to death. I saw Tanner leaning on the head rest of a couch, he was covered with all the blood. He looked at the floor smiling. Lost in thought. Snickering almost. I walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. He kept looking at the floor but acknowledged i was there by putting a hand on my waist. '...these people should be in jail...but if I do anything they'll kill me for sure.'
Anna walked over to Oliver , placing a hand on his left shoulder and her head on his right. As Lydia just sat on the hand rest where Adam was sitting. "So Adam What are we needed for?" Anna asked. Adam slid a file over to her and she flipped it open. Then she read it with Oliver. She nodded as they put on some white masks almost identical but hers had red lipstick on it. They stood up and walked out of the room. "That is all." We all stood up and walked out. Tanner walked in front of me but then I heard a voice call out. "Luna..." I turned as Adam wanted to talk to me alone.

Lydia was the only exception. The body hairdos closed the doors. "I want you to really think about your future. I will give you a chance to back out before you get in to deep. I can tell you are no murder. You are someone who would rather make the world better, and safer." He was right, I didn't want to kill people. It's not what Sarah would have wanted. I can still go home, I can have my old life back. "What about Tanner?"

"Well...that would be a difficult conversation if you choose to leave. But I can't control him from not seeing you." It all came down to this one choice... I could either go home and pretend none of this happened or I can stay and become a murderer...
