When we arrived at school, I could already see Eric sprinting over. I messed up over the summer, me and his girlfriend hit it off and we kissed. I messed up, I know.
"What the fuck is your issue? Touching my Amira!" H e screams, getting up into my face. I knew him enough, he was just trying to get an audience. Instead of entertaining it, I just walked past him. It's important to know that Eric's mom and mine were inseparable, so he knew he couldn't hurt me.
"I know you, but keep running away. Touch her once more and I'll fuck you up." He blared at me, I didn't turn around, I just flipped him off. I knew it was smart to leave it, all the girls around me were whispering under their breaths. Saying things like, "That was quite hot." I just simply walked around, smirking at everyone.

Most of my large friend group left school and moved either across country or dropped out. It was weird to me, who would leave school so suddenly. That year it was me, Noah, Brody, Josh and Alex .Five less than the year prior ,but I'll have to admit I did prefer it to he intense amount we had before. We were all close, don't get me wrong. But that were left with me, were the closest to me. As we walked to first period I saw Jax running up.
"Hey—Um— Corey, I heard a bunch of people saying that Kace is going to come and pick a fight with you. "He said panting.
"Get out of here first or he'll fight you before he can even get to me."  I saw Kace approaching and I got ready to hit him. He ran up to me, his bag thrown to the ground. He ran up, trying his best but I beat him to it, striking him on this nose. I grabbed him by the collars, striking his face until I couldn't any more. I could tell he was struggling to balance so I let go. I didn't want to punch him, I didn't need to but I felt like I had no choice.

Only when I let go, I could see his face, blood gushing out from his nose, his eye swelling up almost instantly. Hey lay there, his shirt staining with blood, his face full of regret. I knew I shouldn't have. I was sent to the principal's office and had to go to detention for two weeks, writing a sorry letter, apologising to him and his parents.

At lunch, Noah, Josh and me were the only one's eating, the other two were at coach's office, no clue why. Probably being scowled for rough practise. I zoned out, staring into the distance, the first thing I spot is a girl. A girl with her hair down, wearing a white t-shirt and black, knee length shorts. Her hair straight, not a single part of it messy. I locked eyes with her from the table, she doesn't do anything. I looked her up and down, biting my lips, smirking and giving her a wink. She had these pearly blue eyes, that were too pretty for me to even be staring at. She didn't smile back, she didn't wink back, she just looked around, furrowed her eyebrows and carried on eating her sandwich. I know for a fact, she did not just air a wink from me, Corey Evans. I couldn't even voice my 'concern' because she was quite the tomboy. She was wearing clothes that only the boys in school wore. She was also sitting with Benjamin, so I didn't even bother to get up and say anything.
