We were let out of school an hour earlier than usual, however I was given detention, even on the first day. But me being me, I didn't want to go. Instead I left my classroom, walking pass detention. Then I paused, I walk back, that same girl from lunch. Maybe I do want to go in. I opened the door and sat on the seat next to her. I take a peak at what she's doing, drawing a man, his body, his arm resting behind his head, winking. Is that me? I turn the other wya before she catch me watching her.
During detention, the librarian showed up, needing the girl. I didn't even know her name at that point, so whilst she was outside, I slipped her book into my hands, slightly. Her name in embroidery on the cover, 'Jasmine Adrian Gregory'. The name 'Jasmine' was crossed out and above it in pen, was 'Jamie.' Her name is cute, why doesn't she keep it as it is? I flipped onto the first page, drawing of different people. Each drawing with names that she created, silly ones that you would only think in your head. The drawing of me was pleasing to see, one for my ego, and because it was well drawn. At the bottom, it said 'the stupid, not so hot, basketball player. Who was winking at me from across the lunch hall.' For once, an actual girl was noticing me. Not the ones that walked around, giggling about my face, one that looked at me, for me.
I heard the door rattling so I placed the book back and before detention even ended, I slipped out. I kept thinking back to Jamie's book, the drawing of me was perfect. It had the correct everything, it almost looked like it was a photo. I ran back to my car, sitting and strapping myself in. I snuck a look at my knuckles, which were throbbing by then, I knew he deserved it.

I bolted into my house, walking into my bedroom, taking my clothes off. I let them sit on my bedroom floor, staring at myself in the mirror, flexing, taking a look at my body. It made me smile, knowing the hard work I put into it got me somewhere. I walked out to my kitchen, a bowl on the counter, a note next to it. "Dinner! - Love mom'. I took it and warmed it up in the microwave.
I wanted to head into the pool but I was too lazy to walk into the house again, so I went in just my boxers. Was it stupid and lazy? Yes. But did it make me happier, yes. I swam back and forth in the pool until our Bulldog came running over. I was petting him until the doorbell rang.
"I'm coming, Jesus Christ." I pulled myself out of the pool, walking over to the door and opening it. To my surprise, Jamie was stood in front, wearing a pizza hut shirt. Do I say something? No, surely not. My mom usually orders randomly, making sure I'm fed. I almost always was. I run over to my wallet, which is sitting the kitchen island. I'm thinking about how much I should tip until the dog starts barking.
"Chow, off of me." he doesn't listen, instead he tugs on my boxers, ripping them. I can feel the wind on my backside. I purposefully don't react, I turn around and walk over, trying to act as if nothing had happened.
"Thank you, here you go." I smirk at her, giving over a 70 dollar tip. My face went red, the pure embarrassment I felt. I was left scared because it could've happened on the opposite side, not that it would be an embarrassing thing to look at. After that, I had to make sure Chow never does that again.
