Lindsey was making breakfast-brunch-as it was around eleven o'clock, Roxy running around at his feet waiting for her fair share of the bacon that he was frying up. "So girl what do you think we should do today, do you wanna go for a run on the beach, take a swim?  Maybe throw the ball in the backyard some huh?"

Roxy just stares at him before they both hear a click at the front door and Roxy bolts towards it barking.  Christine was trying to kick the dog off of her legs and Stevie was loomed over petting her. At one point Lindsey watched as Stevie squatted down and Roxy ran to her. She sniffed her for a while and then she finally gave in and licked Stevie who just took her into her arms and started scratching her sides.

"Hey, Roxy." Stevie talks to the dog as Christine makes her way over to Lindsey who just looks at her with pleading eyes.

"She's free Linds." Christine pats his shoulder as he lets out a relieved sigh and goes over to Stevie and the dog.

He picks her up and wraps his arms around her. He can feel her nuzzle into his shoulder and neck and close her eyes and then his hands go from her hips, up to her stomach.

"You're here...and you really are pregnant." Lindsey states.

"I am. I'm eighteen weeks. She's okay Lindsey." Stevie states.

"Is she?" He asks.

"Yeah, they did an ultrasound yesterday and her heart is strong. She's okay." Stevie nods her hand cradling his jawline.

"You keep saying She, is it a little girl?" Lindsey asks.

"It is. I um...I have a name for her if you'd like to hear it." Stevie shrugs pulling away.

"I would, what's her name going to be?" Lindsey smiles tears welling up in the corners of his eyes.

"Emlyn Rosabella. Em-Lynn, Emlyn means a brave and noble warrior. Rosabella means noted protector." Stevie explains.

"It's perfect, and it's beautiful Steph." Lindsey pulls her back into his arms.

"I was let go Lindsey." She states.

"I know, what happened?" Lindsey inquires.

"When Mick found out that she was pregnant he tried to get Joe to kill the baby by shocking Stevie three times a day. Joe wasn't comfortable with that, he has recently lost one of his own children and he didn't want to make another parent lose their child. So he and I worked together to get her out of there. He's talking to the police about Mick right now." Christine explains.

"That's good, when are you filing for divorce?" Lindsey questions.

"Lindsey, honey I just got home...I need to shower, I need to go to the store and get some maternity clothes, I'm hungry as shit because they barely fed me in that place, and I wanna sleep." Stevie sighs.

"Home are you staying here?" Lindsey asks.

"If you'll have me. I don't really want to go to Mick's house. I don't even know how I'm going to get all of my stuff." Stevie shakes her head.

"Hey, we'll figure it out. But right now, let me feed my girls huh. I"m frying bacon in the kitchen and I'm making some pancakes. Chris, you can eat too." Lindsey states.

"John's in the car, I'm making him take me out for lunch. You guys enjoy yourself and get settled. Stevie on Monday Lindsey'll take you to John's office and you can work on your Divorce okay." Christine hugs her.

"Thank you." Stevie smiles.

"Good luck you two, you deserve the whole world." Christine smiles.

As they're eating their brunch, Stevie a little bit more greedy than she would've liked, but she and her baby were hungry she clears her throat and takes a sip of orange juice. "Can we go to Divinity?"

"Are you sure you want to. That's the first place Mick is going to look for you." Lindsey explains.

"Oh, right I guess not...I was hoping to get some incense though." She looks down sadly.

"Tell you what, first thing tomorrow I'll go and get you everything you need or want from Divinity. Today we focus on making this your home. Whatever you want, we'll get. New sheets for our bed, we'll get it, a new comforter we'll get it. Some new pillows, all the maternity clothing your little heart desires, any records to add to my record collection, soaps, shampoos, candles everything. And hell, how many months is eighteen weeks?"

"Five."

"We can even get her some stuff because she's going to be here in what, four months." He asks.

"Give or take, she'll be here on her mother's favorite holiday." Stevie looks down her hand caressing her bump.

"And what holiday is that?"

"Halloween." Stevie smiles.

"And you know for sure she's coming on Halloween," Lindsey smirks.

"Yes, I know. It's mother's intuition." She states.

"Alright, she'll be here on Halloween," Lindsey replies.

After she had finished eating she looked at Lindsey, "Show me to your bedroom, and then wake me around three so we can go shopping?"

"You don't remember where it is?" Lindsey states worry filling his voice causing Stevie to laugh.

"Yes, I remember...Electroshock Therapy had no effects on me... Well, I'd be hazy for half of the day but I still remember everything, right down to that little divot by your hip...but I want you to lay with me." Stevie crosses her arms.

"Sure. C'mon." He motions.

She and the dog follow him and once she cuddles up in his bed with him and she was falling asleep until he moved down to her stomach.

"Hey Emlyn, you and momma have been through a lot haven't you. Well, daddy's here now and he's going to make sure that you both are safe and protected. And I can't wait for Halloween to get here, because that's when your momma says your coming, and I really can't wait to meet you, baby girl.  Daddy's going to spoil you rotten. But I do have to warn you kiddo, daddy's not going to always be around. He'll be there as much as he can but to make sure we have money, he's gotta go away for a long time every once in a while." Lindsey says to her stomach.

"So when are you going back out on tour?" Stevie inquires.

"Angel, I haven't even thought about writing a new album. All of my focus was directed to getting you away from Mick and it will be until you sign your name on those papers." Lindsey explains.

"I love you, Lindsey." Stevie looks up at him.

"I love you too." He smiles.

It was then that she started to cry. He didn't ask any questions, he just took her in his arms and rocked with her.
