December 1977
Despite, Stevie being utterly appalled when she Charlemange informed her of Mick's drug trade she had fallen down a hole. After that night with Mick where he blatantly stated that she was now trapped with him, and he wasn't going to even attempt to help her jumpstart her business she fell into the drug trap. She was actually surprised that Mick hadn't realized anything yet but she knew that she was unhealthy dependent on the stuff now and it had only been a week. A week and she couldn't get herself out of bed now without doing a hit of cocaine.
She was pretty sneaky about the whole thing with Mick, she was now carrying it in a little vial around her neck and she had made him believe that it had something to do with her mystical qualities. She had been summoned to a lunch meeting with Sharon, Minnie, and Robin so she quickly stooped down onto her mirror and snorted her morning hit of cocaine before going to get dressed in a black pencil dress which she paired with a red mesh cardigan that had bell sleeves and was adorned with white and black flowers. Once she pieced herself together she made her way to the meeting spot.
She had gotten their first and she was thoroughly nervous. She hadn't left on good terms the day that she found out Mick wasn't going to help her, and she didn't know how they were going to react to her today. Robin was next then Minnie, and finally, Sharon and once the girls were together. Robin cleared her throat.
"So last week my grandmother died," Robin stated bluntly.
"Oh, Robi I'm sorry. I can't believe Charlotte died." Stevie grabs Robin's wrist.
"It's okay, she was in long term care anyway, but Kim and I spend the first half of the week in San Francisco for her will reading and her funeral is in two weeks, but Kim couldn't take that much time off of work so we're going back...but that's not the point. The point is, in her will, I was left a large sum of money. I'm talking 100,000 dollars. So the first thing Kim and I did when we got back was we bought a building for Divinity because I'm sorry Stevie but I'm getting antsy and I'm not waiting for Mick any longer." Robin explains.
"Well, I was going to tell you today that Mick told me that he has no desire to help us get a location for our business so I was going to back out..but Robin if you have a commercial property." Stevie states.
"We do, if we're all in this for the long haul, would you all like to go see it?" Robin shrugs.
"Yes!" The three other woman chorus.
The building wasn't anything special. It was painted blue on the outside and it looked more like a house than a commercial property but it was right in the center of Los Angeles and it was perfect for them.

Stevie and the girls spent all afternoon planning things out and picking out paint swatches for the shop and decorations. Stevie paid for all of them, having the most money in her bank account-save for Robin-at that point. But it was also a Friday so once she made it home she was immediately supposed to get ready for the parties she was never supposed to attend. Mick always wanted her to have her makeup done and one and he always wanted her in either a negligee and a bathrobe or a pretty little house dress and tonight she was going to wear her white negligee set but as she was loomed over the mirror snorting her cocaine when Mick barged into the room.
"Stephanie, are you..." He trails off.
She sniffles and touches the nostril that inhaled the substance and turns to him. "Maybe."
"Oh thank god, I don't have to hide it anymore. It was honestly a nuisance. We usually deal right in the open at the parties. Anyway, get dressed you're attending tonight." He hisses.
"I'm what?" She stands up and starts pacing the floor.
"You are going to do what you do best with a certain Lindsey Buckingham, do you know who he is?" Mick inquires.
"Of course I know. We met him at the AMAs. He had a clean sweep. I absolutely love his album, Buckingham. Is he going to be here tonight?" Stevie asks crossing her arms.
"He is, I'm trying to get him to sign under me and drop his connection with Warner Brothers. You are going to whoo him and make sure that I get him. He's on the shortlist for the Grammy's next year and I want to be his manager when he gets one." Mick insists.
"So I take it you've picked an outfit out for me?" Stevie leans against her dresser her high kicking in fully.
He just smirks and hands her a very skimpy white tie top and a white chiffon skirt and fishnets.
"Michael, it's December." She squawks.
"And?" Mick inquires plopping down on in his side of the bed.
She just glares at him and changes into the revealing outfit and she tightens the bow between her breasts and just stomps her way downstairs.

Stevie can see Lindsey at the bar and she expertly slinks up next to him and smiles at the barman who, knowing full well what she drinks-he is employed by them-hands her the glass of red wine and She just cozy's right up to Lindsey who turns to her and cocks his eyebrow.
"Your Mick Fleetwood's wife aren't you? We briefly spoke at the AMAs right?" Lindsey inquires.
"So they tell me, but I didn't take his last name despite them calling me Mrs. Fleetwood, I'm still legally Stephanie Nicks, Stevie, actually and I'm barely his wife." Stevie rolls her eyes.
"Oh?" Lindsey scrunches up his forehead.
"My husband and I have a...A different relationship. An Open Marriage as some call it. I can guarantee you he's trying to get to know Ginny the blonde over there and I kind of want to get to know you." Stevie shrugs.
"An open marriage huh?" Lindsey asks.
"Well, a business marriage. But anyway...what do you think, should we maybe go get to know each other?" Stevie asks grabbing his hand and drawing on his palm.
"Um, well...I guess you are kind of hot...but maybe not here, let's go to a bar or something." Lindsey smiles.
"Oh, I know the perfect place...I'm going to go change, meet me in the driveway in fifteen minutes." She smirks pushing away from him and jogging up the stairs.
She does another hit of cocaine and then she changes into a black dress with pink flowers on it and she eagerly makes her way outside where Lindsey is loomed up next to the front door.
