She was wrong, she couldn't believe she was wrong but that's not what she was focusing on at that moment. She had left work at noon saying that something just felt off and she would feel more comfortable at home. But as soon as she walked into the door her hand fell to her stomach and she bit into her lip her head falling back against the door. A contraction had encompassed her, and once it passed after a chorus of deep breaths, she let Roxy out, and then she left her roaming on the main level of the house while she went upstairs to prepare her space.
She shut the bedroom door and the first thing she did was she lit the candles surrounding the bedroom. She had gotten Fall scented candles, cinnamon, and pumpkin, as fall was her favorite season and it just brought on the mood for Halloween, and she was going to light some incense as another contraction hit her. This one brought her down into a sitting position on the bed, her hands clutching at her stomach a groan squeaking passed her lips. The cramps had been getting increasingly more painful everytime they occured, but up until noon she thought it was preperation contractions. But noon was when she felt a giant energy shift around her and the baby shifted down within her causing her to be able to draw in a deeper breath which she hadnt' been able to do since about August. When the contraction passed she lit her Nag Champa and then she organized her crystals. She placed some under the mattress on her side of the bed, and then she just scattered some around the room.
She had planned her crystals perfectly for labor and delivery. Agate was to keep her grounded, Black Tourmaline for protection, Bloodstone would bring about courage, amethyst to keep her calm, black onyx for speed. She wanted the labor to go by as quick and painless as possible. Rose Quartz for love, moonstone-her stone-to balance her hormones, malachite would allow her to move on from old trauma-Mick Fleetwood-and to avoid negativity. And finally, Unakite to keep her emotions in check.
Once she felt like she had nested enough she called Divinity and requested that Robin come to her and Lindsey's house after she got off work. Robin wanted to question her at first, but she knew better so she just dropped it and agreed and then she dialed the number that Lindsey had left by the phone in their bedroom because he had started writing again and was in the studio recording a new album.
"Hello." He answers quickly.
"Lindsey?" She asks.
"Yes, what is it...Steph is that you?" He inquires.
"You need to come home." She says as calmly as she can but she stiffens as a contraction shoots through her.
"How come is something wrong?" He asks.
"I'm in labor." She announces and she can feel his energy shift through the phone.
"You said she was coming tomorrow." Lindsey points out.
"I know I did, but I guess I was wrong. Please hurry, this really hurts and I need you here." She begs.
"Yeah, I'm on my way, right now." He hangs up and Stevie finally cries out.

When Stevie sees him walk into their bedroom, her resolve crumbles and she finally starts crying. "This really hurts Lindsey,"
"I know, I know...but hey...you can live through electric shock, you can live through this." He replies taking her into his arms and squeezing her tightly.
"This hurts worse than Electric Shock. It feels like she's clawing at my uterus." Stevie whimpers.
"Okay, okay...where do you want to lay down?" Lindsey asks.
"I made a nest." She points to the floor by her side of the bed.
Lindsey moved his head down to where she was pointing and then he noticed a bunch of pillows that had been on the bed now set up neatly against the side of the bed. Including the pillows that they slept on, and under the pillows were five fuzzy blankets,. Two of them she had gotten when she first moved into Lindsey's house the other three coming from when she went and retrieved her stuff from the storage unit that Mick divulged her stuff was in as they were leaving court after his sentencing. There was also a pile of baby stuff neatly folded on the floor under the window. He noticed two articles of clothing. A little teeny tiny teddy bear costume that Stevie had gotten for Emlyn's first Halloween. And then on top of it was a mint green or light blue depending on which parent you talked to. Stevie said mint, Lindsey said light blue, sleeper with little pandas on it and a tiny little headband with a bow on it. The outfits were sitting next to a couple of teeny tiny diapers, and a couple of bottles and formulas and then there were three blankets. A receiving blanket that was white with gray moons on it, and two fuzzy blankets. One was pink with white flowers and the other was grey with pink polka dots on it.
