Chapter 11

Hey guys. I've been trying to upload a bunch and I think I've been doing fairly well at that. :)
Tell me what you guys think. Are you enjoying the story? Please comment cause I would love some advice and if no one is every responding I feel like im just writing for myself which is fine but I want to know if other people are reading it. Anyway yeah, here's a new chapter.

*beep beep*

I jolted awake and looked over at my alarm. It said 6 am. Darn, I must have forgotten to turn off my usual school alarm last night when I got home.

I had gotten home around midnight last night after Hunter came to pick me up from Sam's house. The rest of the party had been fun but I was glad to get home.

Seeing as I wasn't going to be getting anymore sleep I walked over to my book shelf and grabbed one of my favorite books to read, Harry Potter. I had first read it in elementary school back when we still lived in the lab but it was my favorite book to read when I was sick or just bored.

I soon got lost in the book and didn't even realize what time it was.

"Lily?"

I looked up. James was standing next to me.

"Oh Hey. Just reading. whats up?"

"dude its like 11 am already. Don't you have stuff to do. Where were you last night?" He said.

"geez calm down, i was at Sam's house doing our physics hw and then we went to a party for a little while."

"You didn't tell me where you were going. I was going to see if you wanted to go to the fair or something but then you never came home so I gave up and went to sleep." He said.

"Aw man, I'm sorry bro. I had no idea. But im kinda going to the fair tonight already."

"Oh sweet! Can I come?"

"Um...no."

"Why not Lily..." He said, making a puppy dog face. "Don't you love me, you have too, I'm your brother."

"Dude you know I love you, but I'm kinda going on a date." I mumbled, blushing a little.

"Oooooooh." He said.

"oh I just remembered I think Amy and Ryan and some other people were going tonight too so maybe you can see when they are going and hangout with them?"

"Yeah I'll go do that. Thanks sis."

He headed for the door.

"Oh and Taylor made some food so you should go grab some." He called on his way out.

"Yum, thanks" I said.

I closed my book and headed downstairs in my pj's to get some food.

When I got downstairs I found a big pot of spaghetti and a bowl of pesto sauce so I guessed that was what James had been talking about. I grabbed a bowl from the cabinet and took some food, sitting down at the table.

I was busy enjoying my pasta when my phone buzzed.

I looked down to see that I had a text from Amy.

-You're going on a date? Excuse me but why do I, your best friend, not know about this?

oh shoot.

-Sorry Amy. It happened last night and I didn't get home till like after midnight and I didn't want to bother you that late and I was just reading this morning and I didn't think to text you...
