Chapter 13

Hey guys. First I just want to apologize for being absent for like two whole months on this story. I've really been trying to upload as much as possible but i am so busy. I want you all to know I haven't forgotten about my story. Don't worry.

I've been super busy with school and I have my big tests coming up in the next three weeks and then I will be pretty much done with senior year. I mean I have school till June but I'll have so much more time after these tests are done that it will feel like school is over already anyway.

So anyway I know you are all waiting for this new chapter. So here you go.

Please point out any spelling or grammatical errors cause I'm writing this on my phone at midnight so I will likely miss a lot of things.

Once we got off the swings we walked around and looked at all the different rides to go on. We chose to get on this huge roller coaster next. It was giant and had about ten loops, ok maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but it was still super scary looking. We were waiting in line when Ryder and Kyle walked over with a bunch of friends.

"Hey guys" Ryder called. "Can we hop on the line with you?"

"Sure, I guess" Sam replied, and suddenly we ended up being swept into this big group of people.

We stayed with the big group and it was really a lot of fun. Even thought I didn't know everyone in the group at first, and I was the only junior, everyone was really nice and we ended up having a blast. It was so nice to get all these new friends and it saved me from the awkwardness of being with just Sam the whole night, seeing as we barely knew each other anyway. It seems like this could be the start of some great new friendships, which would certainly make the rest of the year a lot of fun!

Around dinner time we all headed to the food trucks at the center of the carnival and I saw all my friends too.

"Hey Sam." I said, turning to him. "This has been a ton of fun but I think I'm going to go spend a little time with my other friends and then head home since it's getting late"

"Alright" he said. "This was fun today!"

"Yeah!" I agreed.

I quickly said goodbye to all my new friends, exchanging numbers with a few of the girls who were nice with a promise to text them and set up a time to hangout.

I then turned and headed over to where my friends and brother were.

"Hey Ryan" I called out to my best friend as I approached the group.

"Hey Lily" he called, as everyone turned towards me.

"Wait but I thought you were on a date Lily?" Alice said.

"Um well I was here with Sam but I think it was just as friends. We ended up hanging out with Ryder and some of their other friends for most of the time and it was fun!"

"Oh, I thought you guys were like a thing, he doesn't like you?"

"Umm I don't think so" I replied.

"But do you like him?" Alice pestered me.

"I don't really think I do." I said. "I mean I don't really know him, like he is nice and all but I don't know him well enough to yet"

"Well he is cute" she said. Looking across the lot to where he was sitting with his friends.

I followed her gaze.
