Chapter 11

Toni's pov:

"Ptsss, TT wake up"

I woke up and looked behind me, seeing Cheryl looking down at me.

After the party Cher wanted to stay the night and of course I couldn't say no to her, so I agreed. We didn't do anything, just cuddled up in my bed and fell asleep watching Netflix.

I looked over at my alarm clock and saw that it was 2 in the morning.

"What is it cher?"

"I can't sleep" she pouted.

"Alright well, I'm up now so what do you want to do?"

"Uhm, talk maybe, about what's happening between us?"

"Okay let's talk then"

It was silent for a minute. I don't think she knew what to say, I sure as hell didn't.

"W-what are we TT?"

That question really got me thinking.

What are we?

I definitely wanted to be with her again. I just hope she would feel the same way.

"Well, what do you want Cheryl?"

She looked at me with this puppy dog eyes and said...

"I just want to be with you. So bad"

"..me too"

Cheryl's pov:

"Toni we're going to be late!" I yelled to my girlfriend who was taking forever to do her hair.

"I'm coming just, 1 second"

Toni and I made it official a couple nights ago and I couldn't be happier. I know I'm madly in love with her and that kinda scared me.

"Okay let's go" she pecked me on the cheek before walking past me and out the trailer, me following behind her.

When we got to school we split up in separate directions. We just didn't want our friends to bother us about our relationship just yet. We decided to take it slow.

I'm sitting in my math class, bored out of my mind, when I heard talking from behind me.

"If you had to sleep with two girls who would they be?"

That's what I heard the one and only Chuck Clayton say to Reggie Mantle behind me.

"Veronica Lodge for sure and...oh that Topaz chick, she's hot"

Once they mentioned Toni I felt my blood boil. How dare they talk about her like that, or any girl for that matter.

"I bet I could get her number faster then you can"

"Who Topaz? You so on"

That's when I lost it.

Slamming my hands on my desk and standing up, disrupting the class in the process, but did I care? No.

"Listen to me you disgusting pigs! You can't talk about her like that, or anyone. So why don't you two go back to focusing on football before my foot meets both your balls"

By the time I was finished everyone was looking at me shocked, and I knew I was going to be in trouble.

"Miss Blossom, the office. Now!"

Toni's pov:

I was grabbing my things out of my locker, because I forgot my notebook, when I heard footsteps coming from behind. When I turned around I saw cheryl storming down the hall and out the front entrance.

"Cheryl.. Cheryl!" I followed her all the way to her car. She finally stopped and opened the door but I quickly shut it.

"Toni just let me leave"

"No, why are you so mad?"

No answer.

"Baby please talk to me.."

She looked at me before breaking down in tears and hugging me, laying her head on my shoulder.

"I-it's just t-they were talking ab-bout you"

"Who babe?"

She sniffled back tears and tried to catch her breath.

"C-chuck and Reggie"

"Well hey, don't listen to them okay. You have me and I'm never letting go again okay!"

She looked back up at me. It broke me to see her like this.

"Okay TT, just promise, please"

"Promise what cher?"

"That you'll never let go of me. Please"

"I promise"
