See You Again || CHONI

Chapter 14

Toni's pov:

There she was, Cheryl Blossom. I didn't think she could get any more beautiful. I felt my heart rate pick up, and for some odd reason I started shaking a little. I was so nervous. My thoughts were interrupted by someone picking me up and swinging me around.

"TINY!"

I looked down to see a crying Fangs hugging me, my body still hung in the air.

"Fangs! How about you let me go so I can hug you back, yeah?"

"Oh yeah sorry"

He set me down then gave me a proper hug.

"Ugh I missed you so much Toni!"

I sighed deeply, loving that I could hug my brother again.
(They're not really siblings)

"I missed you too"

"Okay my turn!" I heard a voice come from behind Fangs.

"Sweets!"

"Aye tiny!"

I hugged him as well, then felt another pair of arms around us. I looked up and saw Jughead join, then Fangs. After our group hug, I looked back at the table and smiled at the rest of them.

"Hey guys"

Most of them said hi back, Kevin getting up to hug me. The only one I didn't here anything from was Cheryl. She was just staring at the fries on the table. There was a kid beside her, drinking a milkshake out of a kids cup. He was on the outside of the booth so I bent down in front of him with a smile on my face.

"Hello there, what's your name?" I asked the boy.

He looked up from the milkshake and at me, Cheryl looking up from the table.

"Billy" he replied.

"Well it's nice to meet you Billy, I'm Toni"

He nodded his head with a smile. I'm assuming he's Cheryl's.

"Well this has been fun, but Billy is tired so we should probably get going" Cheryl said as she grabbed her coat.

"Okay well, we'll see you tomorrow right? F-for the funeral?" Veronica asked.

"Yes of course. See you all tomorrow"

Everyone said their goodbye's to her before she left. I looked down at where she was sitting before and noticed her phone on the booth. I looked outside, hoping she hasn't left yet and thank God she was still in the parking lot. I grabbed the phone and quickly ran out.

"Toni wher-"

I didn't hear whoever was talking because I was too focused on getting Cheryl's phone back to her.

She was about to pull out of the parking lot when I made it to her car. I ran behind her car and stood there, knowing she'd stop the car once she saw me, and I was right.

"Toni! I could've killed you!" She yelled out her window.

I went up to her, nervously.

"S-sorry. Um, you left your phone, in the booth" I held out the phone waiting for her to grab it.

She stared at my hand for a second before taking the phone.

"Thanks, Toni"

"No problem. So.. see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, bye Toni"

She left before I could say bye back, but it's okay I understand if she thinks it's weird talking to me. She probably has an amazing husband or wife. My only question is, why aren't they here with her?
