Chapter 13

Toni's pov:

I've been at the airport for about two hours. I've felt this, pit, in my stomach all day and I'm super nervous. I mean, I haven't seen or talked to any of these people in seven whole years, well aside from jug in Betty. We used to talk all the time but eventually fell out of contact about two or three years ago. Now don't get me wrong, I loved Arch, he was an amazing friend. I just want this to be an in and out thing.

After my flight was called I made my way to my gate.

"Your passport miss?" The flight attendant asked when I got there.

"Oh yeah... here"

"Thank you, have a nice flight"

"Thanks"

I boarded the plane and took a seat next to the window, falling into deep thought.

(Y'all I've never been on a airplane so I have honestly don't know what that shit means:)

Cheryl's pov:

"Then why Cheryl? Why do you need to leave the fucking country all of a sudden huh?!"

"Jennifer!" I yelled at my wife. "One of my old, very close friends is dead and your complaining about me leaving?!"

"Uh yeah? Duh"

"Your unbelievable"

I continued to pack my bag while she stared me down.

"Well if your leaving then take Billy with you"

"Oh don't you worry I will be taking my son with me.. and we may not be back so you got what you wanted"

I then walked out of our room with my bag and into Billy's. I packed his bag earlier while Jen was out doing god knows what.

"Come on baby we gotta go"

"Mommy?"

"What bud?" I asked my son as we walked downstairs and to the front door.

"Is mom coming?"

I can't believe I was doing this to him, but I can't stay with her any longer.

"No it's, just us. Now come on we have a flight to catch"

He nodded his little head and followed me outside and to the car.

We drove a couple hours but we're finally here. Riverdale. and Billy is asleep in his booster seat. The invite said to be outside of pop's at 5:00pm. It's almost five so we should be on time. I was very nervous to see everyone. Especially Toni.

"Mommy?"

I heard a sleepy voice say from behind me.

"Yes?"

"Are we there yet?"

"Yep, just around the corner" I sighed.

Once I saw the lit of sign, my heart rate picked up. I pulled in the parking lot and saw some very familiar faces standing outside. When I parked they turned my way. I got out of the car and was immediately brought into a very tight hug.

"Omg I missed you so much cher!"

"Betty hi, um you know I-I love you but I do need air"

"Oh sorry" she let go and looked at me. Gosh I missed this face.

I brought her back into a hug but noticed something. I let go of her and gasped.

"Omg your pregnant!"

"Yeah I am, 7 months" she smiled.

"Congratulations cousin"

"Thanks Cheryl that actually means a lot" I smiled back at my cousin.

"We're here too..."

I looked over Betty's shoulder and saw Kevin, Jughead, and Josie. I smiled bigly at all of them and brought them all into a big group hug.

"I really missed you guys" I sniffled back more tears.

"Mom!" I heard Billy yell from inside the car.

"Oh!"

I went back to the car and got Billy out of the car seat, carrying him over to everyone.

"This, is my son Billy"

"Awe!" Josie squealed.

"Hi Billy" Betty said to him in a baby voice.

He shyly waved at them, causing me to chuckle.

"Bill, this is your aunty Betty, uncle Jughead, aunty Josie, and uncle Kevin"

"Hi" he whispered before placing his head into my neck.

"He's a little shy"

We began talking for a little, while we waited for the others to show up. A car pulled up, causing my head to turn to it. They parked and climbed out, revealing Sweet Pea, Fangs, and Veronica.

"Hey!"

I walked up to Fangs and pulled him into a hug.

After all the hugs and tears we all settled down and got a booth.

"I just have one question.." Josie said.

"What is it?"

"Why did those three show up together?"

We all looked at sweets, fangs, and v.

"Oh, we saw each other at the airport so we decided to come together" Fangs shrugged, reaching over the table to grab some fries.

"Hey is anyone else like, REALLY nervous for the funeral?" Betty asked, frowning.

"I just still can't believe it. I never got to say goodbye" Veronica said looking down, a tear running down her cheek.

"None of us did.." I whispered.

"Well hey, let's not think about that right now. Look, we're all here. All we need is-"

"Toni" I cut him off, locking eyes with a certain brunette. She was staring right back at me.
