This is wrong, this is so wrong.

But I have to do it. For myself, not anyone else.

She only has a limited amount of places she can go and I'm hoping that this is the one she has come to because I'm not in the mood to hunt her down.

The Wilmot house is on the same street as mine, it's always been like a second home to me. I come and go like it's my own. I even have a few shirts stashed in one of the very dirty corners of Kohen's room.

All I have to do is hope that Reeve is home so that way we can talk because that's what we really need to do. Not avoid each other, we need to talk and hear each other side of the story. But no one can know.

It would hurt Kohen too much.

Reeve hurt him more than he'll let on and knowing that I talked to her before he did, or even gave her a chance to explain herself. Well, it would destroy him.

Luckily I drove everyone this morning, not for them but for me. I could get back if I needed to though but this might take longer than it should.

I pull up to the curb and quickly get out of the car, we have two more periods until school lets out. That should give us enough time to try and get the things we need to say off our chest.

I jog up the sidewalk hoping that we can get this over with.

I might need clarification from Reeve but that doesn't mean I'm not dreading this conversation.

She didn't only hurt me but she hurt my family, my best friends. Then she got to leave while the rest of us were stuck here with the memory of her and everything she put us through. I might never forgive her but I just need to know.

However much it hurts.

Sharply I knock on the door looking around checking to see if anyone is watching or looking, luck is on my side because I don't see anyone. I knock on the door again praying that Reeve is home.

Mid knock she opens the door.

We stare at each other wide-eyed for a second before I whisper, "Can I come in? I think we need to talk."

She nods stepping back and opening the door wider for me. I survey the area and once I've confirmed there's no one there I enter and Reeve closes the door behind us.
