Kings, queens and a joker

Before we start this, ahem, I have some things to say. One, I'd like to know if any of my readers have other fandoms they are apart of (not just kpop) I'd like to write things other than BTS though I'd also want people to read them. Also don't think too hard about this one... you don't need to draw the parallels.

"He will have your head for this." The words being blown through air, carried by wind to Seokjin's ear. "Don't act as if you have cared, as if you'd ever care about my fate."

The words come out not as petty nor as unveiled anger, they come out resigned. As if Seokjin has accepted these words as truth. "You spit nonsense, why? I've done nothing to deserve your wrath, your hate." The taller's voice is weak muffled by the weather.

"Lies? Is this what you think I tell? Lies? You-" Seokjin cuts his tongue, closing his eyes and looking away. "You would, you've no knowledge of the slights thrown at my back, not while you Kim Namjoon, sit on your throne drinking your wine and consult your 'special women' on issues of the kingdom." Seokjin says, voice carrying a boom as he draws his sword and twirls it into a comfortable place in his palm.

"All your greatness, so bright, brightness brings shadow, and guess where I was? Directly in the shade of your brilliance!" Seokjin's eyes turn misty before it evaporates into blue smoke. His sword being enveloped in the smoke as Seokjin readies his stance.

Namjoon stands as he once was, fists tightening at his sides as he steels himself. "You are hurt, Seokjin, and I can see this, no matter what you've done, you can return, we do not have to make this worse." Namjoon walks towards Seokjin, reaching out a hand and tilting his head.

Five hours earlier

"Brother." Namjoon nods to Seokjin as they pass. Seokjin bows a head, letting Namjoon walk before joining at his back side. "I've told you we are equals, no need to walk behind." Namjoon says, gesturing his hand out as Seokjin raises an eyebrow. "It doesn't seem father shares your same sentiment." Seokjin smirks a tad before striding to catch up. "Oh? Why would you say such thing? His love for you shines in comparison to ordinary parentage." Namjoon says grinning a small braid falling off of his shoulder.

"Ah, ahem, yes well, though it is a nice thought I-" Seokjin's words cut to another voicing their thoughts from a distance. "Namjoon! Aye, just the man we are looking for!" Three men stride up the shortest one with narrow eyes and a face as friendly as a cement block eyes Seokjin in distaste, crossing his arms and drawing his eyes away.

Seokjin is close to sticking out his tongue at the man, but such tricks are for children, and not quite for a sorcerer as skilled as he. The one who had first shouted, the biggest of the three, grins wide as he slings an arm around Namjoon's shoulder. "My friend, tis your big day, a kings 27 th is a kings biggest." Jungkook had said his free hand having a loaf of bread in its grasp. "Whomever has told you such lies shall be put to trial." Namjoon chuckles, starting to walk the palace halls once more. "My king, there is no such lie, 27 is a much respected year, so respected, in fact, Seokjin will never reach it." The last of the three speaks, hair short compared to the others in the hall.

His eyes a light hazel and his grin, frankly annoying by seokjins standards. "Your opinion is most unwelcome." Seokjin says with a roll of his eye, black hair long and smoothed back. "Aye aye, a jest, I jest! The adopted brother of Kim Namjoon will make it to 26 and a half, a good compromise, is it not?" Jimin grins to which Seokjin scoffs, turning his head away from the four, lips pursing.

"Be nice to my little brother, he is sensitive." Namjoon chuckles "we will see you then Seokjin, do not be late." The smaller of the four, Yoongi, says, leading the other three ahead of Seokjin.
