Regret

ITS BEEN MONTHS since nalaman ko ang totoo, Kara is behind bars now with her boyfriend, Clark. Tommorow is christmas eve. Its the first chrismas i will celebrate without Xav.

Its been 8 months since pumunta silang dalawa sa Canada, i have no connection with them. Currently im studying in La Salle Antipolo in the strand of ABM. I will hold MonteM Corp soon when i reach the age of 18

Sila na kaya ni Sniper?

I dont know but that question always pops in my mind everyday, i dont even love her in the first place. I just, maybe im just guilty of what happend, of what i did to her, what ive done to her. Currently im here at my room looking our squad pictures, ive been staring at her smile for minutes. That made me smile as well

I was busy daydreaming when mommy called me, kaya agad ako tumayo at bumaba. Nasa harap sya ng laptop and she was smiling, Quency was beside her, they were both laughing, nasa baba na ako pero di pa rin ako nililingon ni mama, nilagay ko na lang sa bulsa ng shorts ko ang mga kamay ko at sumandal sa hagdanan habang tinitignan silang tumatawa

Im busy staring at them when someone talked over the laptop, a familiar voice made my heart flutter, a voice owned by a woman that can make me melt, and that owner made me fell inlove with her in this past 5 months. Wait, what did i just said? Fall inlove?

I instantly went beside mom, i saw her, she's smiling, hindi ako nakikita sa camera but i can see her. Tumingin naman saakin si mommy at natawa sya ng makita nya ako, did she just saw me blushing, yumuko agad ako pero sumisilip parin ako, her hair turned black to brown and she bacame more mature since the last time. Pag nagpakita ba ako? I can make her smile just like before, can i make her blush again

"Kamusta jan sa Vancouver, Xav?" my mom asked and im just waiting for her answer, i want to know what she's been doing, we had no communication since the day she left. I want to apologize as well

"Okay naman po tita, ito STEM strand kaming parehas ni Sniper" she said, and that made me flinched, is she happy with Claiden already? Are they together. Tons of question are now flooding in my head

"Thats good, i missed you already, we will visit your mom tommorow, dun ulit kami magci-christmas. Its new kasi wala ka" my mommy pouted, i just chuckled, she really likes Xav, why if i introduced her as my lover? Will my mom be happy? Jeez! What ive been thinking this past few months

My mom looked at me and smirked, late ko na narealize na nahila na ako si mommy hanggang sa makita na ako sa camera, nakita nya ako. From her huge smile it bacame small but still she looks smiling. Napakamot na lang ako sa batok ko dahil sa hiya, my mom is laughing because of the awkward atmosphere that is occuring

"Look this is Raven now, lalong gumwapo ang first love" agad naman akong namula sa sinabi nya, tinulak ko si mommy dahil dun, nakaka-inis, nawala na ako sa camera pero nakikita ko pa din sya, she laughed. Jeez, am i being gay because the butterflies i felt in my stomach

"Tita, ill get going na, may gagawin pa kami" she didnt reply of what mommy said, nakalimutan nya ba yun o sadyang ngapapatay malisya na lang sya. That made me sulk and sad, i just left Quency and mom in the living room while looking at me

NAG-THUMBS UP naman si Xav sa napiling kanta ni Sniper, at natawa naman si Sniper dun, pumunta na sya sa lamesa nila para maghain, hindi sabay ang pasko nila. Mas nauna ang Pilipinas kesa sa Vancouver,Canada. Pero sabay pa rin nila icecelebrate 'to. Its currently 8pm in Canada and 7am in the Philippines, Sniper already set the camera where they can be seen during the video call

"Xav ko, nagugutom na ako, wala pa bang Cordon Bleu" pacute na sabi ni Sniper pero sinamaan nya lang sya ng tingin ni Xav, pero pagharap ulit ni Xav sa niluluto ay todo kilig at ngiti naman sya, she cant lie to herself, she is slowly falling inlove with Sniper, but she doesnt know what her guy feels about her

"Kay Raven dati mabilis magluto, may pa bento box pero saakin hinde" nagtatampong sabi ni Sniper habang naka-halumbaba at nakatingin kay Xav, di na lumingon si Xav, instead she cut the dish in tiny pieces and serve it on the table where Sniper was waiting, after a few minutes, a call was made

It reveals Quart face, invading the whole camera, but he slowly walked backwards that reveals the Montemayor and Fortalejo family in its dining table, Quency and Xivian are infront waving their hands to their ate and kuya

"I miss you kids" masayang bati ni Xav habang nakangiti, si Sniper naman ay sumubo na dahil di mapigilan ang tyan na nagaaburolto na

"Miss ka din ni kuya Qua--" before Xivian finished his sentence, Quart embraced him and covered they kid's mouth before he tells something embarrasing

"Lets eat na, gutom na gutom na ata boyfriend mo" her mama said that made Queenie, Quart's mom shookt and eyes widened, Xav as well

"Ma! Naman eh, di ko pa boyfriend si Sniper" ani ni Xav while chewing her food inside her mouth, Quart is just anticipating of what could happend

"Pero may 'pa' kang sinabi, ano yun nag-aantay ka lang" asar na sabi ni mama at sinamaan lang sya ng tingin ni Xav, she can really bully her daughter even thou she's so far away

"Naku po Xav, you are brought there to study, not to make landi" natawa naman ang pamilya sa sinabi ni Mr. Fortalejo, Xav knew her dad has the best sense of humor in the family, she's sad she didnt inherited it, her jokes were corny

"Dont worry tito, when we reach the age of 18, ill bring her there in front of you when we finished senior high and go home in the Philippines and court her there face to face" all people were shocked just like before, Sniper and Xav just smiled with each other, in love but there's Quart, walked out of the scene

"That should be me"
