SUMMARY: During VidCon 2020, Sam and Colby and the rest of the Trap House Pack discover that there are other werewolves and creatures amongst their YouTuber circle and not all are friends.

VidCon 2020

The days for the major social media event blurred together, but Alpha Colby was living his own life. He smiled so brightly as he entered the panels and heard the screaming of his fans, holding onto Sam's hand beneath the tables. It all made Colby feel normal again and he basked in it.

Sam and Colby exited their fifth panel of the day, joining up with only Corey and Elton (the others were at their own panel). The Omega exhaled loudly and rolled his eyes, thinking of all the questions they received. Colby squeezed his mates hand in comfort before letting their hands dangle between them. The pack spoke to each other softly, laughing and enjoying their moments together before Sam and Colby's last panel.

And, suddenly, an Alpha growl interrupted their conversation.

Corey and Elton glanced up at Colby, thinking it was him despite it not sounding like him, and then realized it wasn't. It had come from a large clique walking past them. Colby connected his gaze with the heated red of another's as they slowly walked passed the pack and Colby's eyes flared crimson in retaliation as he recognized the face of the infamous Jake Paul.

The older Paul brother was surrounded by his Team 10 posse and each member stared furiously at the Trap House pack. Colby could feel their hatred against his skin, but also his own pack's confusion and defense. The Martinez twins, both with a pair of Beta blue eyes, were the most angry, as if channeling their Alpha's own hatred. Their teeth were bared in a way that screamed "come fight me" rather than as a warning.

Elton took a step forward, putting Corey behind him next to Colby and placing his own body in the frontlines. Jake Paul saw the move and smirked at Colby.

Beside Jake Paul was his mate Tana-- a pretty Omega blonde-- who stared at Sam like he was going to be her last meal. Golden eyes glistened with bloodlust, but Sam kept his composure and stared back at her equally as darkly through the fallen blonde fringe. He was daring her to make a move on him. She flashed a grin at him filled with sharp fangs.

Colby pulled his gaze from Jake Paul and turned it to Tana. When he saw the murderous look she was giving his mate, he snarled with his fangs bared and stepped in front of Elton, making sure Sam was safe behind Corey's body. The Trap House pack Alpha stood with his legs slightly spread and his hands clutched into fists. His gaze was dark and low. Jake Paul starred back at Colby, taking in his posture, and turning to his pack and giving a sharp look to each of them.

The Team 10 pack moved off and Sam came up next to Colby, wrapping his arm around Colby's waist in comfort, as Colby sneered, "What the fuck was that about?"

"Probably jealous of your status, Colby," Aaron's voice interrupted their thoughts.

Colby snapped his head to the side to look at the Omega Seer, who had come up with Jake and Tara beside him, "When did you guys get here?"

"As they walked away," Jake answered with a nod, clearly not happy with the events that transpired, giving the way the Team 10 pack left a glare.

"Whatever their reason was," Sam gently caressed Colby's hip, "We got one more panel to go before we can leave."

"Oh thank god...," Colby groaned and laid his head on Sam's shoulder.

Sam smirked at Colby's reaction, "Just think about all the things I'm gonna do to you tonight."

Corey's voice silenced the interested growl that Colby gave, "And that is our cue to leave!"
