The sounds of screams startled the Alpha and he snapped his head up from the opened box of White Claws he was putting into a large cooler filled with ice. Sapphire eyes stared out of the sliding door and onto the porch of their forest cabin.

At the edge of the railing, he could see Reggie throwing a screaming Cassie over his shoulder as walked toward the edge. She hit his back repeatedly, clawing at his skin, and pleading for him to put her down. Reggie said something and placed her down on the ground, pushing her up against the railing and her placing a kiss on his lips.

Colby cracked a smile at their shenanigan's and returned to the pile of White Claws, grabbing the last two from the box and popping them in their places in the cooler. He covered them in ice quickly and, with his inhuman strength, Colby picked up the heavy cooler with ease, settling it against his hip. He walked out of the kitchen and out onto the deck. The voices of all his pack mates resounded above the loud music-- their howls of laughter and good times.

"White Claws are here!" Colby yelled over it all, grabbing two cans from the cooler before everyone converged on the table. 

"Fuck yes!" Aryia cried out like he had some holy revelation as he crawled over the sofa they moved out onto the deck like some rabid dog as his eyes glowed blue. Behind him was Reggie and Cassie who walked normally around the sofa.

Colby smiled as he looked over the others sitting at the bar. Majority of the girls, all who were human except for two, lounged in it with their respective boyfriends (if they had them). They all knew about the supernatural abilities their friends had now; the lying was hard to cover up when they all kept leaving for specific weeks of the full moon.

Xepher, sporting a bright neon green number, had one hard wrapped around Griffin's neck, playing with his hair at the base of his head. Despite being far away, Colby could tell Griffin was about to fall asleep into Xepher's neck.

Beside them was Devyn in a pale pink number, and Katrina sat next to her in a deep blue pantsuit; both girls were rather close to each other, laughing at anything the other said.

Luna sat next to Katrina leaning back into her seated new-mate Mike and the way they looked at each other? Colby smiled softly. He knew that look. He saw it in his mate's eyes every morning, glowing and reflecting back into Colby's own.

Next to the new couple was Tara and Jake, who now were part of the old married couple group that included Elton and Corey; and Sam and Colby.

"Race you there, babes!"

Corey's voice shrieked and Colby snapped his eyes to the woods to his right, where he saw Elton giggling like a maniac and racing after his mate and up the stairs to the deck. In one small swoop, Elton grabbed Corey around his waist and threw him over his shoulder with ease. Kevin followed behind laughing and shaking his head like a dad would.

"ELTON!" Corey screamed and screamed, hammering his fist into Elton's back.

Arising from the group at the bar, a glowing look in their respective eyes, was Jake, Tara, and Mike-- most likely grabbing drinks for everyone.

Yet, Colby didn't see his mate.

As Jake and Tara came up to the cooler, Colby slid in next to his Beta with worried eyebrows scrunched together and pursed lips, "Have you seen Sam?"

Jake shook his head, but Tara nodded, grabbing a White Claw and growling animalisticly as she tried to pop the tap without popping her nail. She answered him, "Saw him go to your room," Colby grabbed the White Claw out of her hand and quickly did it for her, "Thanks, Alpha-- Sam said he was getting a camera to do a small vlog or something."
