Chapter four
Saturday 10am
I got out of bed wishing it wasn’t a dream; now I’m wishing it was. I slowly walked to the mirror wondering if it was, I pulled the clothes off the top of my mirror and smiled. It wasn’t a dream, I was so happy. I turned on the music and jumped and danced around until I heard a car horn out the front. I looked out my window, still in my Pyjamas. It was Jake, with the top half of his body out the window staring into my window at me. I smiled and told him to wait a second while I got dressed. I ran down the stairs and ran out to his car and hopped in.
“Hey, beautiful!” He said with a smile
“You seem to be in a happier mood”
“Yeah, sorry about last night, I was a bit annoyed after I spoke to Samantha before the party”
“What did you talk to her about?”
“She wanted to get back together and all this, then at the party she has her hands all over this other guy”
“Don’t worry about her”
“Aren’t you her new Barbie?”
“Ahaha, well I guess so”
“Well least she’s good for one thing” he smiled at me; you know that sexy smirk boys do.
“That reminds me, where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise” he did the smile again, all I could do in reply was smile back.
We pulled up at a surf-ish shop and he smiled.
“Let’s go” he gestured, I followed.
We got in the shop and he picked out a bright pink bikini and held it up to me.
“What?” I smiled.
“You need a bikini, try it on”
“Why do I need a bikini?”
“We’re going to the beach and unless you’re wearing one now, you don’t have one. So come on try it on”
I said fine and smiled, once I got to the dressing room another whole bunch of bikini’s fling over the door.
“These too!”
I showed him every time I put a different pair on, Jake smiled every time I had a pair on. I don’t mind my body, I guess I’m skinny and that my boobs are just the right size, I like it. And apparently so did Jake.
I found the perfect pair, a nice blue and purple with a ruffle on the bikini top. Jake pays and I put them on in the car as he drove. We pulled up at the beach, it was about 1.
There weren’t any people around, maybe one passing every now and then but that was it.
I ran straight into the water, Jake looked confused.
“What? Isn’t this what the beach is for?”
“Most girls just sunbake” As soon as he said it, I thought to myself and knew that Samantha would have said the same. I didn’t know what to say, I couldn’t get out now, I would look uncomfortable and Samantha told me not to act uncomfortable, “It makes you look bad, don’t do it”
“I’m not like most girls” It seemed to work, he did the sexy smirk and ran to the water.
He grabbed my waist and twirled me around. I smiled and giggled. Just like I was told too, “He will take you to the beach, don’t go into the water. But if you do, he will touch you and get close to you. Smile and giggle…”
He pulled me close so I wrapped my legs around his waist. He smiled at me and we stared into each other’s eyes, I had never noticed how blue and beautiful his eyes were.
“You’re beautiful, you know that?”
“You’re sweet”
“You don’t know do you?”
“Know what?”
“How amazing you are” As he said it he twirled around and gave the biggest smile.
He leaned in and smiled even more, his lips began to touch mine; I could still feel his smile.
