Shehnaaz starts conversation with Malini, the chief maid of the palace. She plans to be friendly to her to get the required information.

Shehnaaz: Hi! My name is Shehnaaz. I am Mr. Sidharth Singhania's personal secretary.

Malini: Hello Ms. Shehnaaz. I know, Mahesh, the butler told me about you earlier. My name is Malini.

Shehnaaz: Nice to meet you Malini. Please call me Shehnaaz. Don't be so formal. I am also an employee like you here. For how long have you been working here?

Malini: I'll be completing 5 years next month.

Shehnaaz: Wow!! Do you enjoy working here? What do you think about our bosses?

Malini: Mr. and Mrs. Singhania always kept busy in their life. They hardly spent their time in this palace. So it's pretty much less burden on us, you know like not been under surveillance of boss.

Shehnaaz: And what about Sidharth Singhania?

Malini: As I said his parents are workaholics, he had been always ignored child. He was looked after by Radha Aunty since he was 3 months old baby. He called her Maa. Unfortunately, after I joined within 3 months she expired. He was very close to her and obeyed and treated her like his own mother. After her death, he was devasted and his own parents were not there to support him at that phase.
He started spending time outside most of the time, consumed alcohol and having multiple girlfriends. You know how few girls are, they drool over boys who are rich. Earlier he called his parents mom and dad, but he started calling them Mr. and Mrs. Singhania. After looking at him, I feel better off being poor than being born rich without having someone to love and care for you.

Shehnaaz: Yes, you are right. How did Radha Aunty die?

Malini: They say that she had heart attack but I saw her dead body, there was foam coming out of her mouth. It looked like she was poisoned. Sidharth Singhania was not at home when she died, he was out of town for his college Alumni party and before he could come, they cremated her body. He didn't wanted to go for the party but Radha Aunty had insisted him to go and enjoy. He repents going to the party that day. And his anger was more since nobody informed him about her death and didn't even allow him to look at her one last time.

Shehnaaz: That's sad!! How can they be so inconsiderate about emotions. She gave what 24-25 years to them.

Malini: Yes, but I am more surprised that Mrs. Singhania didn't even mourn for 4 days on her own husband's death. They didn't have Chauta (4th day mourning session where people visit the death person's family). I can understand Sidharth Sir's action since he wasn't attached to him as he came home late and left early morning with minimum or no interactions at all. But Mrs. Singhania, spent whole time with him in office and home, yet so emotionless.

Shehnaaz: Don't they have any other person in family?

Malini: Mrs. Singhania's cousin brother, Mr. Anil Thukral, his wife Sarita and their daughter Ms. Mahira Thukral are there. I find them extremely greedy people, they sometimes visit here and boss around. Apart from them, Mr. Singhania has a step sister, (born from his father's second marriage) Mrs. Komal Verma, her husband Mr. Surya Verma, their son Vishal and daughter Shefali. Mrs. Komal acts nice to Mr. Singhania but I find their emotions fake. There is also Mr. Rohit Singhania, step brother of Mr. Singhania, his wife is dead and has a son Vikas. He visits only during business parties or very rarely. They all visited 3 days back on the funeral.

Shehnaaz: Chuck it! Big shots and their Big families yet broken! Tell me about the employees in the palace.

Malini: I am the chief maid of the palace and there are two maids and one servent under me. There is Mahesh, the Butler. Paras, the head of security along with his team of 4 security guards. There are 4 drivers.

Shehnaaz: That's a big team, looks like I'll have a big group of friends here in palace.

Malini: Pretty much everyone is friendly but be careful of Paras, he is a big time flirt. He often tries flirting with me and two maids. I find him a pea head with a gigantic body.

Shehnaaz: (laughs) I know how to handle such rascals! After all a middle class girls who travel in public transports need to learn some basic defensive techniques.

Malini: Tell me about you my friend.

Shehnaaz: I am pretty much an open book. An average girl who belongs to a middle class family. I have an elder brother who is a bank employee. My father is a retired college lecturer. I lost my mother when I was 5. I was the only woman in the house until my brother married. Now there are 3 females in the family.

Malini: 3? How come?

Shehnaaz: My brother had a baby girl 2 months back.

Malini: Wow!! That's so cute. You must be missing her.

Shehnaaz: Very much! They stay in a different state. I came to this city 4 years back in search of bread and butter. Last I visited them was when my niece was born. (Speaks with teary eye)

Malini: Hey don't worry dear! We are a family now. I am an orphan so who knows better the importance of family than me. (They both hug each other)

Shehnaaz's POV:
I started the conversation with an intention to enquire about the Singhania's family and employees but I told her about my actual family of course with different identity and state.

I felt emotional talking about my family since my family loves me so much. They don't even know that I am an undercover agent, they think I work as a secretary since I did my Company Secretary course along with my passion to serve my nation. I was always passionate about serving my nation but my father would've never allowed me to risk my life. So I hid my identity from them as well and chose to work in different state.

Shehnaaz Thakur alias Sana Gill, the most loved child in the family. A very disciplined, organized, mature and badass girl. Though she is pampered child but she has been independent and very responsible since time she attained maturity. She took tuitions when she did her matriculation, she did odd jobs and worked as trainee to fund her studies even though her father could afford her expenses. She believes in commitment and relationship are done from heart and stay for lifetime.

Sukhwinder Gill a retired college lecturer and father of Sana Gill.

Param Gill a bank manager and brother of Sana Gill. He loves his sister a lot. Married to Twinkle Gill.
