Epilogue

[Mbalenhle]
"Mama would be so proud of you little sis,you look so beautiful beyond measures..." she fanned he face after that i held in my tears back, this one year alone made us closer than we could have ever been, we were each others shoulder to lean on, like mama said we should.

"Stop you making me cry now" i said as my lips trembled , i stood up and she squeezed me into a hug tightly.

"I love you " she said squeezing my hand gently, and smiled at me, eventually we pulled out of the hug and pity party when my uncle reminded us that we should have started 2 hours ago, my phone has been ringing with Qhawe constantly calling me, the make up artist had to redo the make up yet again and put in as water proof, when we were done my uncle walked me down the aisle. 'Perfect by Ed Sheeran' played as i walked down the aisle, i watched Qhawe standing on the other side with a Maroon tuxedo on him, he looked dashing in it, his smile didn't leave his face instead his lips twitched and he bitten his lower lip and a tear ran down his left eye, he quickly catches it before it goes further but then the right one rolls down, eventually i stood besides him but my uncle wouldn't let my hand go and Qhawe was impatient eventually laughter filled the room as everyone realise this , when he eventually gotten my hand i felt goosebumps all over my body, this man still had the effect of even giving me butterflies on my stomach.

"Friends ,Family,we gathered here to unite these two people in holy matrimonial" the priest started with a mic on his hand. "According to the Corinthian 13 verse 4 to 8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away, marriage is a huge responsibility not something that will eventually go away but a lifetime commitment, from today onward you will no longer be known as boyfriend and girlfriend but as husband and wife, from today onwards its no longer me, you but us,cheating doesn't only count as committing adultery but lying to your partner is cheating again, not only your union will be blessed and recognised here in earth but above god is blessing this union, marriage needs love, commitment and loyalty those are the three most important components in a successful marriage, with this decision you taking today you tying yourself down and including someone else in your life's dynamic ,people forget one component in a successful marriage, it needs work to be that , just because you married doesn't necessarily mean take the dating out of the marriage" he added , Qhawe never let my hand away from his,he squeezed me like I'll run away.

"If anyone here at this moment objects to why these two shouldn't get married speak now or forever hold peace" he said i held my breath for a minute or two before eventually breathing, "Good now the groom and the bride asked to say their own vows , will start with the head of the house" we turned to look at each other,he held the mic tightly his eyes told a story , he rubs his nose gently, before lightly chuckling and looked away for a moment as tears roll down.

"Here is a grown ass man lost for words and shedding tears" he said wiping it with the back of his hand "i had a lot to say, get the key word 'had' , i memorised my speech word by word but standing right here with you makes me speechless, am at loss for words at this moment no word can describe how i feel right now, my mother always says, you may be imperfect now but once you find a perfect women who loves you with your imperfections people would view you as a perfectionist, you'll find that women who will love you , that women who will take a house and turn it into a home, who will take a boy and turn him into a man, she never not once forgot to teach us how delicate a women is,you came into my life where i was goal driven , i didn't see myself as a father, as a man and most importantly as a husband, you looked past my imperfections and beautify them , you made them our problems while they were mine only, I've never seen myself loving someone like i love you now, you the reason i wake up daily and work hard , you motivate me to do better, MaQwabe

You made me a women amongst women, today i stand proudly because of you, you took me from my lowest ,at some point i given up in life, i lost my father and you gave me a daughter as a comfort, at some point i didnt think in life i would be here but you made that dream come true, you loved me with my imperfections and you supported me when no one did, you believed when i myself didn't, you made me a mother and am proud of each and every little human we made together, i know even the one am carying you'll be a great father..." his jaw dropped as i continuosly nodded taking his hand into mine and put it on my flat stomach, i was 7 weeks pregnant."yes am pregnant again, thank you, am a mother today because of you , i love you Gatsheni wami ,I'll love you today ,tomorrow and forever" i say he brought me close to him and hugged me tightly , his tears rolled down his face when he was satisfied he pulled away before kissing my forehead.

" Mbalenhle Qwabe do you take Qhawe Ndlovu to be your lawfully wedded husband" he asked this was the man i adore and looked forward to spending a day with every day.

"I do" i uttered proudly with my head held up high.

"Qhawe Ndlovu do you take Mbalenhle Qwabe to be your lawfully wedded wife" he asked looking at Qhawe.

"I do" he said immediately on the mic near his lips a smile graced my lips after that.

"Repeat after me..." he said as we grabbed the rings , i took it from Sindiswa while he took his from Manqoba.

"With this ring i take you to be my wife, through thick and through thin i promise to be by your side when you need me, i promise to love you now, forever and always and protect you till death do us part" he said pushing the diamond ring on my finger, the huge stone blinds my eyes.

"With this ring i take you to be my husband me,through thick and through thin i promise to be by your side when you need me, i promise to love you now, forever and always and protect you till death do us part " i slid the black band on his finger with three little diamonds on it.

"With the power invested in me i now pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride, just keep it PG13" he said the last part lowely, Qhawe pulled me closely and gave my lips a kiss, Qhawe never minded being affectionate in front of people, our lip locking was us finally connecting as husband and wife, i pulled away from the kiss breathlessly, he pecked my lips before looking at our human beings that we created.
********
We took pictures as married couple and as a family, when we finally made it to receptionist i was starving, they dished up and we ate in music playing and all that, Qhawe was just feeding me.

"Why didnt you tell me" he asked wrapping his hands on my stomach i smiled as he kissed my nose at that "thank you baby but i thought we on birth control "he said.

"I should be asking you its your sperm my womb just accommodated them" i said he laughed at that before people started doing speech, his mother gave out a speech and his father and close friends.

"Qhawe is married, Qhawe is married " Nqobimpi chanted on the mic before Qhawe closed his eyes at that covering his face "Thobelani how does Qhawe get into a relationship while we engaged ,get engaged and get married while i haven't "He said looking at his boyfriend who just grinned, he kept on going on being Nqobimpi, I've been at my lowest, I've  went through hell in life , i did things i never thought i would do, life threw lemons at me and i kept eating them as sour as they were until now, Qhawe was my life, he was there when i needed him, he loved me when i didn't love myself.

"Can we sneak out for few minutes,my hotel room is unoccupied " he said seeing everyone now was drinking and completely avoiding us, they were now hitting the dance floor as Emcimbini played, we sneaked out and he was quick to get rid of the dress, he unzipped his pants only as he sat on the bed with me above him, i lowered myself before shifting the lacy panties to the side.

"Ohh" i gasped and moaned as he thrust inside impatient, his hand held my ass as he helped me thrust, i moved my waist up and down and in circle, who knew that somehow and someday i would be here , Qhawe was my happy place and the love of my life, I've loved ,cried and lost in life but he still was there supported me, my eyes rolled back as i organisms and soon he followed, his eyes shone brightly as he held out both out left hands, the silver  bands visible, he was mine and mine alone.

"I love you" he reminded me.

"I love you too" i said.
