🍯Miyah's POV🍯

I couldn't sleep an inch last night and when sleep would finally sneak up on me my mind would shoot back to the topic of today,it made me nauseous.

I woke up the smell of morning coffee coming from my baby's kitchen,and then suddenly they appeared at the door.

"Goodmorning guess who's birthday it is?" They said while walking in with two coffees and a plate of pancakes in their hands.

I smiled but it immediately turned into a frown as my mind walked back into what was gonna happen today.

My breaths began to quicken and I guess they noticed I was scared wide eyed as they came up to me.

"Hey hey miyah your gonna be okay i got you I'll be there the whole time."

"I know but I'm scared what if they disapprove?"

Even if they do nothing will change because you'll still be my girlfriend okay baby we just both know that it's time"

Suddenly my phone began to buzz and my heart flickered as the contact popped up I answered it still knowing I would be in trouble if I didn't.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"

I laughed a little at the fact that she and my dad have been doing this since 3rd grade.

"How are you, are you having a good birthday so far?"

"Mhm yes I'm just a little anxious that's all."

"Oh no need to be anxious just remember that me and your father love you guys. Actually we just got finished talking to Matt have you talked to him today and wished him happy birthday?"

"No I kinda just woke up mom but anyways is dad around I wanna talk to him too."

"Oh I'm right here sweetie your mom just doesnt like to share the phone just like she didn't wanna share me in highschool when all the girls would-"

"Okay okay I think we get it dad but I love you guys and thank you for the birthday wishes."

"Oh your welcome sweetie and don't forget to call matt remember."

"Oky mom I will love you bye."

I hung up feeling terrible that i had kept this from my family they were the best i could have i just still wasn't sure if they would approve especially matt because he's just so overprotective at times.

"Hey miyah you there?"

"Oh sorry I just got lost in my thoughts again."

"I'm sure you'll be fine they sound supportive I'm sure they'll understand."

"Okay yea I'm sure they will they love me as much as I love them so yea maybe I have nothing to worry about ."

"Exactly now let's go get your cake shall we."

"Yea but I'm gonna call Matt first to wish him happy birthday, I said while sliding on my crocs and heading out the door behind them."

Before I even went to his contact he beat me too it and my phone lit up as his contact drew out across the screen.

"Heyyyy Birthday Girl."

"Heyyyy Birthday Boy"

So how's your birthday been so far?" I asked him.

"Oh absolutely terrible honey,he said in a edna from Incredibles movie voice, which made me giggle because he was a pro at it."

"Omg what happened girl", I joked.
