"Nai wake up it's me nick,I miss you please wake up we need to talk."

My eyes opened in shock at my dead brother who was infront of me and somehow I could see him and hear him.

"Nick! I missed you so much," I say squeezing him in a tight hug. "Wait but If your dead does that mean I'm-."

"That's not important we need to talk we don't have that much time so I want to talk to you."

"About?"

"You, I want to know how you've been since I died."

"Oh, well I'm still depressed and I miss you everyday. I also started writing again in a long time and I feel a little bit better because it connects me with you."

"Naomi you know your birthday is coming up next week and I heard you when you said you didn't want to do anything. You said all you wanted to do was be with me but here we are you're with me and you can be with me forever eventhough you already are,but nai I want you to celebrate the things you do have and appreciate them because you still have me and you still have that boy what's his name mason or mark-..no Matthew."

"Nick I-"

"Please naomi you can visit me if you want but please I want you to do this if you don't want to celebrate yourself do it for me okay promise?",he says looking me straight into my eyes.

"I- I promise nick."

"Oh and also this was real but when you wake up and go back into consciousness you'll feel intense pain."

"Ummm okay?"

"Love you nai."

"I love you too nick,"I say as I lean in to hug him but he disappears and my eyes shoot open and rush of pain is pounding in my leg.

I look around to see a doctor and my parents talking to them.

"Mamma, papa it hurts,"I whisper as my voice cracks.

"Sweetie you're awake we were worried sick about you."

"What exactly happened?" I ask as my head starts to throb making my rub my temples.

"Naomi apparently you were driving in the rain and a deer was in the road and you didn't want to hit it so you swerved off the road and crashed against a tree."

"Why does my leg hurt?"

"You broke it silly but they put a cast on it and you'll have to get crutches,but other than that thank god you're fine."

I smile slightly but then I frown.

"Momma I wanna talk to makaila where's my phone?"

"Oh, it kinda broke but while you were knocked out cold I went to go get it fixed so here it is,"my dad says making me giggle.

"Thanks dad I really appreciate it  do any of you guys have water I'm dehydrated and my mouth is really dry."

"Yeah sure but can we ask you a question? Why are you even here we thought you were leaving tommorow?",my dad asks as my mom leaves the room to get water.
