New Beginnings ~31~

🦋Naomi's POV🦋

*3 Months later*

"I got in yessss!",matt screamed through the phone happily.

"Yayyy you go baby!", I yelled back.

We both applied for two school which were UCLA and NYU.

I was going to be going to medical school to be come a surgeon and Matt was going to be in the law enforcement.

"Okay my turn let's see if I got in-"

Hold on wait for me to get to your house okay I'll be there in like 30 minutes.

"But baby you know how impatient I am."

"I know I know I just really want to be there in person with you."

"Okay fiiiiine love you bye."

"Love you too bye."

As the phone hung up I decided to get ready since today was graduation day and we finally made it through the year together and stronger than ever. We had been through ups and downs but every relationship isn't perfect.

I put on a simple red dress with red heels and put on some light makeup and put on my cap and gown and headed downstairs with my acceptance or denied letter.

"Naomi you look so beautiful",my parents said before taking pictures with me which made me remember that makaila wasn't here.

I was so happy for her because Tyler had asked her to go on a date a few months ago and they've been dating for a while now and they were just so cute.

Just then the doorbell rang and I rushed towards the door,opening to find Matt in a red and black suit matching the dress I had on.

"Did you open the letter yet,open the letter please" he said before kissing me quickly.

"Okay okay here we go," I say opening my UCLA letter.

I read over it slowly and took a deep breath in and looked at matt.

"What why are you looking at me like that, did you get in? It's okay if you didn't I still love you."

"I.....GOT IN!," I yelled jumping to his arms as he spins me around.

"Woohoo that's my girlfriend see I told you I always believed in you."

"I know you did and that's why I'll love you forever."

"Okay you two love bird let's hurry up and leave before we're late to your graduation."

"Matt are your parents going to be there?"

"Yeah they headed over there after I left,"he says which makes me smile because they hadn't been attending most of his games during the season.

"Okay that's good,"I say laying my head on his shoulder as we drive towards the stadium.

Once we're inside in our seats I can't stay still and begin to shake my leg slightly out of anxiousness.

They then start to call names one by one and eventually it's Matt's and miyah's turn.

"Miyah Richardson"

"Matthew Richardson"

Tears began to build in my eyes as I remembered the memories we had,the thing we all went through together. Just teenagers living their life to the fullest.

All the mistakes we made and all the many thing we learned about not just life but about eachother which not every group of friends could have.

I lightly dabbed my face with the small cloth I hadnbroughten with me before our principal called my name.
