The next week was pretty uneventful they spent some time together but kind of quietly come to the agreement that they were busier now and both casually seeing someone so they were at peace. At least on the surface, both were truly troubled but nonetheless they trudged on.

Jeno and Renjun happened to have a Thursday afternoon free together so they went on an early date to the arcade and had pizza. Jeno talked him into basketball on the outside courts nearby afterwards and lets just say it's not really Renjun's forte, but he was a trooper and let Jeno teach him some pointers. By the time the two parted ways it was still kind of early in the evening so Jeno called Jaemin and they met up for a movie.
"You kind of stink." Jaemin says as Jeno laughs his ass off.
"Sorry I was playing basketball with a friend." That stung a little, Jaemin knows his friend group is limited to one at the moment so he knows it must be THAT friend. He brushes it off and orders popcorn and candy for them both since Jeno paid admission, they will share a large pop as well to cut the cost.
"Hey Jeno, is it ok if on Sunday I bring someone over for lunch or something? I want to make him a meal and I want you to be ok with it first." Jaemin doesn't know why just asking made him so nervous, they've talked about it before and thanks to the theater getting dark he doesn't notice Jeno stiffen up.
Jeno feels like making someone food is a big step, almost as big as a first kiss. He doesn't want Jaemin to be this comfortable with someone other than him and even though it's selfish he's angry but won't show it of course.
"Yeah, that's ok. You don't have to ask though, it's your place too." Jaemin smiles happily, he really thinks Jeno will like Renjun and they will all get along very well. He wants to ask about Jeno's friend but a very large part of him doesn't want to know.
After the movie they order a pizza to pick up on the way home.
The atmosphere at home is ok but Jaemin senses a tension and can't even begin to know why. Jeno goes to bed still mad about this guy Jaemin is bringing over.

The days leading up to Sunday were mostly Jeno avoiding the other in favor of exercise, any spare minute he had he was running and Jaemin was starting to worry but let it go. He had invited Renjun over for lunch and was nervously making food, Jeno could sense that he was anxious but doesn't know if he cares or not. He sat watching tv when the doorbell rang, he begrudgingly got up when Jaemin pleads for him to get the door so he can finish up what he was doing. When Jeno swings the door open angrily his demeanor changes instantly upon seeing Renjun at the door, at least for now.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" He asks as Renjun awkwardly checks the number on the door again.
"Oh um I think we..."
"Renjun! You are here early." Jaemin says happily as Jeno is staring at Renjun with his mouth open and eyes wide. The range of emotions playing on his face are scaring Renjun and Jaemin is just now catching the weird vibe.
"Wait, you um know each other? Like um is this by any chance the person you've been dating?" Jaemin looks cautiously at Jeno who is just shaking his head at the moment.
"Yeah, he was." He said as he walked past both of them out the door.
Renjun is hurt and Jaemin is irritated and confused.
"Is he always that angry?"
"He's only angry when he's passionate about something and he has a hard time expressing himself. He doesn't show emotion easily." Renjun hums as Jaemin pulls him fully into the apartment.
"So we need to talk, we might as well eat while we do." Jaemin says like it's not a big deal.
"I'm so sorry, I don't mean to cause trouble. I've known that my sexuality was a problem but I didn't realize it would be this bad. I should have told you guys about each other and I didn't and now it's this big deal and I'm so sorry." Jaemin's soft smile eases Renjun a little.
"I'm sure it wasn't planned, you're too cute to be that evil. Can you wait here? I will come right back." Jaemin says as he backs out the door quickly. Renjun wanders around the living room looking at all of the cute childhood pictures they have on the wall and smiles to himself. He sees how cute they are together and boy was he right that they would get along well.

Jaemin finds Jeno just down the street sitting on a bench.
"Go away, I don't want to talk about it." Jaemin hums.
"That's fine but if I know you at all, you have fallen for Renjun's sweet charms and let me tell you that boy is up there right now so scared that he messed things up and I personally don't like the thought of him feeling like that." Jeno frowns and stands.
"He didn't do this on purpose and I think we all need to sit and have a conversation about it." Jeno sighs, unfolding his arms he slowly follows Jaemin back into the building.
When they enter Renjun is nervously pacing and Jaemin pushes Jeno over to apologize. He walks over slowly while Jaemin watches the whole exchange.
"I'm really sorry if I scared you Renjun, I'm not really mad just so confused." Renjun smiles cutely and hugs Jeno who hugs back eagerly. Jaemin doesn't know why this sight warms his heart but he could watch this all day. They all sat at the table and started to eat so Jaemin wouldn't be upset that all his hard work was wasted.
"I met Jaemin first, at a cafe in the morning. He was ordering coffee and I was shocked to learn how much caffeine he has in just one and not to mention the sugar, so then..." Jaemin cut him off.
"So then this little cutie walked up wagging his finger at me and lectured me for ten minutes on my health as I walked to my first class." They all three chuckle, Jeno could picture it just the way it happened.
"Then we just started meeting up every morning and talking in our mutual classes." Jeno smiles at the two of them, he can't help it they are both so cute.
"Jeno was a little different, I've seen him before in my classes and always thought he was attractive and when Taeil, or mr Moon had told me one day that he had to pair us up I kind of asked him to pair me with you." He says shyly looking at Jeno. Jeno is quite shocked and embarrassed while Jaemin is just listening proudly.
"I was too scared to just go up and say hi so I cheated a little. Jeno was always in his own little world so I had to work for his attention. Then we just talked and had an amazing time that night and every other time we got together so I asked him out.
I didn't think or have any idea that you would have known each other and I'm sorry if it causes problems but I really like both of you and don't want to stop seeing you." Jeno and Jaemin look at each other both of their heads are swimming right now and they can't really think coherently at all but they do both want to keep Renjun in their lives.
"I'm ok with it." Jeno says standing.
"I'm going to go out for a run though so you guys can enjoy your date." He says softly. Renjun stands and hugs him again and Jaemin stands too, he wants to hug him but doesn't think he should. So he just says thank you and hugs Renjun telling him that everything will be alright.
