Jeno's emotions are all over the place and it's driving him insane, if he doesn't find an outlet soon he will blow. One minute he's as happy as he could be and the next he's in a pit of quick sand pulling him under.
As time goes on he's finding himself falling in deeper with Renjun and of course as much as he tries his feelings for Jaemin remain just as strong. Last night was a good night, he spent it with Jaemin and they FaceTimed Renjun and had a lot of fun together, tonight he's alone while Jaemin is on a date.

His breath is coming short as he stops to rest his fatigued muscles. When he can finally breath again he turns to see where he ended up this time and he happens to be in front of the local bar. He's thirsty so what could it hurt right? He walks in slowly and looks around, it's not too busy on a week night which he's thankful for so he sits on a stool. When the bartender notices him he walks over and asks for ID.
"Sorry you look young." The guy says as he hands back his license.
"Yeah I know, can I just get a beer?" The bartender nods.
"So what brings you here, I haven't seen you before?" Jeno looks up from his lap.
"I was out for a run and stopped to rest and saw this place and yeah." He smiles and takes a gulp of his beer.
"Yeah ok, that's not what I mean. If you were running you obviously care about your health and most people don't run then have a beer to refresh themselves. So what has you troubled?" Jeno shakes his head.
"I don't know if I want to tell you, I don't need anyone judging me for my lifestyle or anything." He chuckles.
"Well I don't know exactly what you're in to but my boyfriend and I own this bar and we pride ourselves on not being judgmental."  Jeno feels a sense of relief that he stumbled upon a bar with a gay owner but it doesn't mean he won't judge about other things.
"So this is a gay bar?" He asks looking around.
"I take offense to that you know, just because I am gay doesn't mean we don't serve straight people." Jeno coughs.
"Sorry, I really didn't mean anything." He smiles awkwardly when the bartender laughs.
"It's fine really, I don't usually announce my sexuality but at the same time it's not a secret. You just seemed like you may need support in that kind of area. I'm Jaehyun by the way." He says holding out his hand. Jeno grins and holds his hand out too.
"I'm Jeno, I go to college up the road and I'm having boy trouble, you could say." Jaehyun leans on the counter showing he is all ears.
"Ok spill." Jeno rolls his eyes.
"It's pretty complicated so listen close. I have a friend I've been in love with since we were fifteen, I don't want to ruin the friendship so I can't tell him. I met another guy two months ago and he's an angel and he tells me he's poly and I'm like ok, I might be too because now I love one and really like the other. So here's where it gets complicated. He is also dating my best friend and we both know about it so it's not an issue and it's so fucking hard when I want to be with both of them." He drops his head to the bar and as soon as he sits back up to see a slack jawed Jaehyun he feels a slap to the head.
"Hey what the fuck?" He turns to see a sassy looking man glaring at him and hears Jaehyun laughing his ass off.
"Honey, at least introduce yourself before slapping the customers." He says shaking his head.
"Sorry, I'm Taeyong and you my friend are an idiot. Tell him." Jeno sputters.
"Uh no. If he doesn't feel the same then I possibly blow it with both of them and don't get me wrong I'm not keeping either as backup, I genuinely love them both." He has a far away look in his eye as Taeyong coo's at him.
"You really are in love with them aren't you? Oh my god it's so cute! I want to meet them. Bring them here some night and I'll tell you how they feel about you." Jeno squints at him and gestures for another beer that Jaehyun happily pours.
"I do have to say he is really good at that. Also I was the same as you. Him and I grew up together and I was so in love and couldn't bear the thought of ever being without him so I figured we should stay friends. He walked up to me one day and said you idiot, I know you love me now fucking kiss me. So I did and here we are." Jeno laughs.
"Now that is fucking cute." Taeyong leans on the bar and kisses Jaehyun sweetly.
"I love you baby." Jaehyun says as he looks at Jeno looking sadly at the two showing affection.
When he sees the tears pool up he gently holds Taeyong back.
"Look if you're not ready that's fine, why don't you come here tomorrow afternoon? I have a sure way of relieving stress." Jeno looks suspiciously at him.
"Oh don't worry sweetie he's just going to take you to his gym and teach you boxing. It's his other passion in life." Jeno thinks for a minute.
"Yeah sure that sounds great actually." He ends up only having two more beers but he's still pretty tipsy when he gets home.
"Hi honey I'm home." He says loudly while he locks the door behind him. Jaemin jumps off the couch he's been sitting on in the dark while waiting.
"Renjun and I have been worried about you. Why didn't you take your phone and what have you been doing?" Jeno giggles.
"Oh my god you are drunk, he has been drinking!" He says wildly into his phone where Renjun is on FaceTime.
"I'm so sorry wifey, I went out to have a good time while you were gone." He walks away sulking and Jaemin is confused.
"Well I guess he's ok." He says watching him enter his room.
"He doesn't drink that often, he doesn't want to ruin all his hard work you know. I hope he is fine. He seems ok right?" Renjun watches as Jaemin struggles and feels for both of them.
"I don't know he seems happy most of the time but sometimes I swear I see sadness in his eyes, it's only a flicker but it's there." Jaemin sighs.
"Yeah I have too. I should talk to him about it maybe." Jaemin says quietly. Renjun can see this hurts him a lot, and he's sure he knows why but he can't step in. It's not his place to meddle.
"Well now that we know he's ok we should go to sleep, it's late. Goodnight Jae." Jaemin focuses back on him.
"Goodnight Renjun."
