*Kelly’s POV*
I woke up the next morning, Griffin wasn't there. I practically ran out of the room, needing to find him. He was in the kitchen making breakfast, I ran to him, hugging him tightly.
"Good morning to you too." He kissed my head.
"You okay?" I nodded my head, not letting him go. Once we ate, everyone else had left, I was off work for a few days. Griffin took Isabelle to school so I had some time to think, although I didn’t really want to. I sat on the couch, trying to understand everything.
“You okay?” Griffin asked, sitting beside me.
“Yeah.” I said, putting my hands together, holding them tightly.
“You sure?”
“Yeah.”
“Kelly, don’t lie.”
“Babe, I’m fine. I’m just tired.” I lied, truth is I felt like I was going to lash out again. I didn’t want that to happen.
*A week later*
I didn’t feel like I was going to lash out anymore, which is good, well not as much. I sat at my desk, not knowing what to do. We didn’t have a case so we did our usual. After work I went home, Maddie and Mike wanted to stay the night.
After dinner, I went into Isabelle’s room to talk with her for a bit. The others were watching a movie.
*Griffin’s POV*
We were watching a movie, having a good time. Kelly was talking with Isabelle, not sure what about.
“This movie is so good.” Maddie said, taking some popcorn. We continued watching the movie until I heard a loud pop from another room.
“What was that?” Maddie asked, leaning forward.
“I don’t know.” I said, getting up going to see what it was. Kelly opened the door, running out of the room. I walked in seeing Isabelle with her hand on her face and crying.
“What happened?” I asked, picking her up and taking her into the front room. I sat her between Maddie and Mike. I knelt down in front of her. Kelly was gone.
“What happened?” I asked again, getting confused. She tried calming down, in order to talk.
“S-she hit me” I was in immediate shock, why would she do that? Surely she didn’t mean it.
“Did she say where she was going?”
“No she grabbed the keys and left.” Maddie said.
“Stay here with the girls, I’m gonna see if I can go find her.” they nodded and I left.
I called Gibbs to see if she went there, if not he may know where she went.
“Hello?”
“Hey, have you seen Kelly?”
“No, why? Should I be expecting her?”
“Uh, just keep an eye out. Call the others, see if she went there. As far as why, that’s another story.” I said, hanging up the phone. I tried calling her, Maddie answered.
“She left her phone here.” She said.
“Goddamn it.”
“You’ll find her, try tracking the tracker in her neck.”
“Yeah. alright”
I went to NCIS, seeing if she went there. Mcgee may be able to help me. I walked in, not seeing her. Thankfully Mcgee was still there.
“Hey, Griffin. Why are you here? And at this hour?” I checked my phone. 10:30.
“Uh, yeah. Can you track the tracker in Kelly’s neck?”
“Yeah sure..” He did.
“Nothing.”
