Chapter One:
"Please."
"No."
"Please."
"No."
"Huuunter," I whined.
"Aliii," my brother whined back.
"Please," I pouted, giving him the puppy dog look.
"Fine," he grunted.
I squealed. This was my first day moving into the same apartment building as my older brother. I start college on Monday. I have a roomate/apartment-mate. That is a guy!
"You know, this would get done a lot faster if you would open the door." Hunter pulled me from my thoughts.
"Oh, right. Sorry," I unlocked the door and pushed it open to see a hot, shirtless guy.
"You must be Alison. I'm Tyler."
"It's just Ali." I helped my brother carry my bags to the open room. "Thanks, big bro. You're such a life saver," I said sarcastically.
"You know it. See you later, little sister." Hunter pulled me into a quick hug and left.
I laughed and walked into the living room. I sat down on the couch and watched a random show. Tyler came out of the kitchen and sat on my lap, like we've known each other forever. "What the hell?"
"You looked interested in whatever you were watching, and I just wanted to ruin that."
"You're an ass." I snorted, trying to push him off of me. I didn't have such luck. "You're heavy."
He laughed and stood. He pulled me from the couch along with him. "Come on, what kind of pizza do you like?" Tyler dragged me to the kitchen.
"You're making it?" I questioned. When he nodded, I answered him, "Ham and pepperoni."
I sat on the counter, until he put the dough in the oven. I got an idea and said, "Let's play a game."
"Okay, but we are playing 'never have I ever' with alcohol," he grinned.
"We just met, and you already wanna get me drunk," I complained. He just laughed and grabbed a bottle of vodka, that was just so conveniently there.
We went back to the living room and sat on the floor, facing each other. "Never have I ever gotten a tattoo," Tyler started. We both took a sip of the alcohol. He raised his eyebrows at me.
I explained, "I got really drunk one night, and my friends dared me to get a star on my ankle." I showed him the pretty gold star. "Never have I ever been to jail."
Tyler winked as he grabbed the bottle. Before I could ask, he gave me an explanation. "I beat up my sister's ex-boyfriend, after he threatened to shoot her. Never have I ever... shot a gun."
I grabbed the bottle out if his hand and took a big gulp. The liquor burned my throat. "It was Hunter's, my brother who was here earlier, he taught me how."
We kept playing until the timer went off, signaling that the pizza was done. Tyler pulled it from the oven. I hopped onto the counter and grabbed a piece. "Ouch!" My piece fell from my fingers to the floor.
"Are you OK?" Tyler asked me, alarmed.
"No, I burned my mouth."
"But you haven't kissed me, yet."
"Asshole," I threw a dishtowel at him. "I never said I was gonna kiss you."
"Well, I know you will. It's just a matter of time. How about we make a bet?" Tyler said, moving to stand between my legs.
