Chapter Three:
"Tyler!" I yelled, when flour came out of my hair dryer. I stormed into his room. He was chuckling and sitting up on his bed. "You are so dead." He caught me as I jumped at him.
"What's wrong, sweetheart? And you have a little something on your face." He pointed all over my, now flour covered, face.
"You put flour in my hair dryer!" I screamed. I wrestled out of his grasp and went to wash my face. I still heard him laughing after I was free of the flour. "Yeah, laugh all you want, Mr. Asshole."
"Come on, sweetheart. Don't be like that."
"Be like what?"
"Salty."
"I'm not. I have class." I plastered a smile on my face.

"Ladies in the back..." The professor scolded Beca and I.
"Sorry," I mumbled, glaring at Beca. Ever since I sat down, she had been teasing me that, one day, Tyler and I would realize we love each other.
"With all the pranks you two have pulled, I'm surprised he hasn't kissed you yet, bet or no bet." Beca's eyes glinted with evil. "It's a stupid bet about kissing. I would've kissed him by now."
We both laughed. We both knew she wouldn't have lost the bet. She's too stubborn, just like me. That might be why we are best friends.
"Alison Bleu, you will be working with Derek Smith." My head snapped up as I realized I had no clue what he was talking about. Derek smirked at me. I glared back at him.
"We'll finish this talk later," Beca grinned.
I scooted over to Derek and waited for him to start talking. "So, we have to design an outfit for a female, fit to go to a formal dance, or wedding." I smiled. Dresses are my specialty in fashion.
"I'll design it, you can make it with the fabric." I set to work by getting my sketchpad out. I decided on a sweetheart neckline. The skirt coming to just above the knee. The fabric would be midnight blue, with a cream belt to accessorize.
"OK, we should definitely get an A, with how beautiful the real thing is going to look." Derek complimented my design.
"Thank you." Mr. Winston signaled that class was over.
"I'll get the fabric and then come over, so we can get started right away."
I nodded and gave him my address. I packed up my things, and Beca caught my arm. "Come on, Beca. I have to go."
"I'm walking with you." She continued to hold onto my arm as we walked.
"Becs, what are you doing?" I asked, when we were almost to my apartment building.
"Walking home."
I pointed behind me. "You live that way."
"I know." She didn't give me a real answer.
We continued walking in silence. Instead of taking the stairs, like normal, we took the elevator. When the doors opened, I went to my door, and Beca stayed in the elevator. I didn't ask why, I just said bye.
I inserted my key into the lock and turned. I heard the television on in the living room, but I walked right to my room. I set my bag down on the floor and went to grab a snack from the kitchen.
Tyler came to stand directly in front of me. "Didn't even say 'Hi,' I see how it is." He crossed his arms over his chest. I could see his muscles tense.
