Chapter Twenty:
We stood in line for The Riddler's Revenge. People were talking, both behind and in front, of us.
As we crept forward, I thought about last night. Tyler was really sweet and made me feel guilty for treating him the way I did, but it's the only thing I can do to not forgive him. Everytime he looked at me, I could see the pain in his eyes. I almost caved when my phone had rang.
Now, we have an unspoken agreement to not talk to each other. I can tell he wants me to tell him that I forgive him, especially after I confessed that I still love him, but...
I showed the guy my wristband and he let me pass. We all got on. I was sat next to Zach. The car moved and we gained speed. The twists and turns were sudden and when we got off, I didn't feel too good.
When Tyler saw me clutching my stomach, he rushed to my side. "What's wrong? Is it the baby?" The panic in his voice drew attention to us.
"I don't know. I don't feel good." There was a stabbing pain in my abdomen and I felt like I was going to pass out. "I just need to sit down."
We had been going on the rides all day, I didn't know why I, all of a sudden, didn't feel good.
"Do we need to take her to the hospital?" Zach, Beca, and Hunter came to us.
"I don't know. She says she just needs to sit down, but I don't know if it's the baby."
Just then the pain got to unbearable, and I bent over. "We definitely need to get her to the hospital, now." And that's all I heard before I passed out.

I woke up in a dark room. A figure sat slouched in the corner. I let out a shriek. The head snapped up and came closer. I started freaking out. I thrashed until I felt a pull in my arm. A light turned on, and I saw an IV in my arm. Why do I have...?
The figure spoke and I recognized his voice. "Sweetheart, calm down."
I did. "Why am I in the hospital?"
"You don't remember?"
"Remember what?"
"You fainted and you said you didn't feel good. We thought it might be something having to do with the baby."
"Is it? Did something happen? Is the baby okay?"
"I don't know. I wanted to wait until you woke up. I'll go get the doctor." He left the room and soon came back with a female doctor.
"Ms. Bleu, you're awake. Your boyfriend told me you would like to know what happened."
I nodded my head.
She continued. "The baby is perfectly fine. So are you. All that happened was the repercussions of when you were," she cleared her throat, "abused."
"Will I continue to have pains and faint?" Tyler held my hand.
"The fainting was probably from dehydration. That is not healthy for the baby. But no, you shouldn't continue to have pains." The doctor then left the room.
I turned to Tyler and he kissed my forehead. I smiled up at him. "Did I ruin the trip?"
"No, sweetheart. You didn't ruin anything. Everyone's just happy that you're okay."
"Thank you. Thank you for being here for me. Thank you for not giving up on me. Because I love you, and I," I took a breath, "I forgive you."
