Chapter Two:
"Ah!" I jolted awake, when cold water hit my face. "TYLER!"
"What, sweetheart?" He shrugged. "I was just trying to wake you up." Tyler had a bucket of, what was ice water, in his hands.
"OK, fine. Two can play at this game." I got out of bed, grabbed some clothes, and stormed into the bathroom. I took my time in the shower, just to annoy him. When I felt refreshed, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped my towel around myself.
I dried off, and threw my tan shorts and black tank top on. I dried my long, curly, brown hair. Once my hair was dry, I put it up into a messy bun. I put mascara and lip gloss on and walked out to the living room.
"You know, water costs money, and the more water you use, the higher the bill." Tyler stated, when I stole a piece of his toast.
"Yeah, good thing you pay the bill."
"Don't touch my food, woman."
"Fine," I grabbed my shoes and put them on. "I'll be back later." I walked out to my car and drove to the dollar store down the road. I shut my truck off and entered the store. I went straight to the candy aisle and grabbed two boxes of Dots. I also grabbed a pack of cups.
I paid and called Beca. "Hey, come over. I need your help."
Ten minutes later, Tyler was with some friends, and Beca and I were filling cups with water. "He is so gonna kill me," I laughed, taking some of the cups to Tyler's room.
"You can come stay with me," Beca offered, helping me put the cups in Tyler's room.
"Nah, I wanna see his face."
"Alright."
We finished my revenge and sat down on the couch to watch a movie. The movie was Pitch Perfect. Beca and I sang along to all of the songs.
Tyler walked into the room, just as the ending approached. He stuck his hand in my Dots and sat on my lap. "Okay, new rule. No sitting on my lap." I pushed him off of me.
"Alright," he said, walking to his room.
I smiled, satisfied, when I heard a, "Shit, Ali!" What followed after that, was the sound of cups tipping and water spilling everywhere.
"Yes," I called, looking at a very pissed off Tyler.
"What the hell?" He asked, fuming.
"Payback is a bitch, huh?" I smirked, earning a chuckle from Beca. Before he could answer, my brother walked into the room.
"Can I talk to you for a second?"
He didn't give me a chance to answer, before he dragged me to my room.
"OK, first of all, ouch," I said, yanking my wrist from his tight grip. "Second, what?"
"What happened last night, with Cameron?"
"Um, well..." I trailed off, afraid of what Hunter would do. He may be an ass, sometimes, but he can be very protective of me.
"Spit it out, Ali," Hunter demanded.
"Well, he pushed me against a wall, and I tried to tell him to stop. But he wouldn't listen. And then, Tyler was there and he pulled him off me." I looked at my collage of pictures of Beca and I.
"That little..." Hunter trailed off. "Ali, it's okay. Don't think about him. He's no longer in your life. He can't hurt you anymore."
"Yeah, Zach made sure that Brad couldn't hurt me anymore, but he also made sure that I would only have one older brother in my life."
