(Y/N's POV)
Death Gun start to charge at us, but we dodged him. Then he started hacking and slashing at Kirito which made him close to death. I threw a throwing knife at him which made him stop attacking him, and then he focused on me. I hit him a few times with him hitting me, and then we started clashing blades. After a while, he went back to Kirito, and he did the same thing, but Kirito couldn't keep up and ended up taking enough damage. His HP started going down to 0. I felt like I was about to tear up since I've never see his HP go to 0.
Death Gun: Lights...out....
Y/N: No...No...No!
Death Gun: You'll be joining your friend soon enough...
Y/N: (tearing up) On your feet, solider! This is no place to die! Get up, I've seen you take worse!
Kirito: Y-You got this, G/N....You a-and Sinon....
A DEAD sign then appeared above his body and Death Gun started laughing.
Y/N: (tearing up) No....No....K-Kirito.......Death Gun, you're an asshole. I've seen death before and I'm not afraid to stare into it's disgusting face.
Death Gun: Can you keep up? Unlike your friend...
Y/N: Let's ride...
I wiped my tears and took off my hat and left it where Kirito's body was and then me and Death Gun started to clash blades again, but this time I was hitting him a few more times.
Y/N's thoughts: I need more moments like that where I can break his rush...
I stepped back a few feet and I was reaching my limit.
Y/N: The rules have changed. I know now that there's a fine line between right and wrong. You threatened Sinon and tried killing Pale Rider, but now you've crossed that line by killing Kirito!
(Third Person POV)
Sinon was watching the duel between G/N and Death Gun with her enhanced vision.
Sinon's thoughts: Kirito's dead. Now it's up to G/N....but without his hat, he looks like someone I know...
She was watching them clash and tried thinking of ways to help.
Sinon's thoughts: If only my scope worked....
Sinon then started to remember what G/N had told her.
(Flashback)
Y/N: I think it'd be a good idea to accept what killing them means, why you did it and keep thinking.
(Flashback end)
Sinon's thoughts: Right now, G/N is trying to translate his words into action, by stopping the criminal named Death Gun, who carries the darkness of SAO. He can't do it because he's strong. He does it because he accepts his weakness. He worries, suffers, and tries to move forward anyway!
Sinon was clenching her teeth and fist in anger as she stood there not being able to do anything.
Sinon's thoughts: Is there anything I can do?
Then Sinon thought of a plan.
(Hospital room)
