Chapter 4

The night before me and louis stayed up arguing he got mad and slept in his own room for the first time. Right now he didn't talk to me we had no school thank god and we had no plans so staying home all day sounded great. I looked up at Louis "You aren't mad are you?" He didn't look at me.

"Dad are going to work?" He ignored me. I sigh picking up my plate and put it in the sink. I walked up to my room I grabbed dusty and put him on my bed.

"Do you think Louis mad at me? I should thrown the pills away" He just starred at me "You're so cute!" I picked him up and hugged him. Louis threw my pills away or aleast that's what I think I don't know where he could of put them.

The day was going by slow I spent my day snuggled up in a blanket with dusty watching Netflix. Louis was in his room hasn't came out since the moring, maybe I should go check on him. I get up walk up stairs to his room the door was open alittle

"I can't! I wanna move out I can't handle another one!" He was on the phone "I a-am afriad that the same will happen..."

"Louis" I say knocking on the door. he hanged up "I-I wanted to talk to you..." he sighed rolling his eyes. I slowly walked over to his bed sitting on down on thw edge.

"About the pill thing how mad are you at me?" He brought his knees up to his chest.

"I am not mad at you..." He says mumbling "Am mad at myself" He hid his face.

"Mad at your self? why would you be mad at your self?"

"I a-am afraid okay!" He got up and walked over to the window.

"You afraid? of what?"

"Failing again...I am afraid if I don't look after you enough that I might fail on you" He sat down and put his face in his hands. I sat next to him and rubbed his back.

"Fail again?" He sighed and looked up at me.

"I had a sister named Lottie you would think she was the happiest person ever no problems in life... she was doing fine at school she seemed okay to everyone" He had tears in his eyes and it hurt me "One day I found blades and pills in her bathroom cabinet she said she had been trying to kill herself the past few weeks she did everything to end it cause they were bulling her at school"

"Just like me..."

"One day she confessed to me that my friend matt would always force her to have sex when he cane over and I was so stupid for not noticing!" The guy matt from the party that tried to rape me. "One day she said that some girls from her school invited her over for a sleep over I had a bad feeling about it, a few days later they found her...th-they...found her body" I felt tears fill my eye.

"Oh my god Louis am so sorry"

"I blamed myself for not being with her at all times...I never forgave myself"

"Louis it's not your fault you did the best you could thats what you should be proud of that you did your best to help her" I hug him, never actually hugged him and it felt strange. But he hugged me back soon then I began to feel comfortable. "Whatever happens to me isn't your fault it's my own"

"But I am your older brother I have to take care of my brother" I lay my head on him.

"But, little brother need to look after thier older brothers too" He layed his head on my head. Normally bothers usually don't do this but we both went through some tough times. We stayed quiet for awhile.

Louis then looked down at his phone "My dad is taking us out tonight to eat, get dressed" he got up and walked in his bathrooom. I look over and see he forgot his phone I look around the pick it up. A message popped up.

Hey bro, got a few extra pounds from my cousin we could get them rolling tomorrow.

What is he talking about? extra pounds? Oh my gosh do they rob? or just trading money? "Hey" I look up and see Louis "forgot my phone"

"I-I was just going to give it to you" He took and said thanks before walking back in. I walk back to my room to change.

We get off and walk in the restaurant "Ew, fancy people" Louis says sitting down at the table, I sit next to my mum. Louis and my step-dad sit infront of us.

"The whole family is out tonight in fancy clothes in a fancy restaurant" My mum says cheerly.

"It's nice" My step dad and my mum locker there fingers tougher. The waiter came over to our table.

"May I take your order?" We told them what we wanted. I noticed that he had red nail polish on. Louis' dad looked at him with a disgusted look. Maybe he didn't like his shirt, it is ugly I mean personally I wouldn't wear it looks good on him though.

"Thank you" My mum says to the waiter then walks away. Louis dad rolled his eyes as he walked by him. Louis let out a loud laugh I look at him.

"What the fuck did he have on his nails!"

"Louis no cussing in public!" My mum says. His dad then started laughing along with him.

"His a fag what do you except" Fag that word hit me straight hard in the face. How can he call the guy a fag if he doesn't even kniw him. As we were eating a gay couple came and sat next to our table "Let's go" Louis' dad says getting up.

"My appetite just went away" He says glaring at the two couple as he walked pass them. Lucky we all finished. We all get in the car and drive home. Louis dad was being a total dickhead so I put my head phones on. Once we get home and run to my room.

"Dusty am home!" He runs over to me and rubs his head on my feet. I pick him up "Your so cute!"

Louis came in laughing "Your mum is so funny!"

"Your joking right? she is like the worst joker ever!" I say rolling my eyes. I know Louis was being sarcastic. He dropped himself on my bed. Dusty climbed on his chest. I could hear my mum and step-dad arguing down stairs.

"Ello' dusty" Louis kisses dustys little nose. He looked so cute playing with dusty, it was him seeing him playing with a baby "Who's the cutest little kitty"

"You sleeping in your room tonight?" Louis sat up on the bed still playing with dusty.

"Oh, yeah! That's what I was going to ask you can I sleep here? my room is hella cold"

"Yeah of course" I was gald that Louis wanted to sleep in my room. First time Louis came I felt safe. like all the worries went away. I wasn't sure what the feeling was at first.
