"in a room full of art, i'd still stare at you,"

_______

JIMIN LOVED ART - IT FASCINATED HIM. Sometimes he'd like to consider himself an artist. He was a dancer, and dance was a form of art, was it not? He might not be professional like other people, but he was still an artist. Jimin loved dance, because it allowed for him to express his emotions and feelings on a different level. Aside from loving art, Jimin liked to own art. He didn't always understand it, but if something spoke to him, he knew he had to have it. It was one of the reasons he loved places like museums and art galleries. There was always something that spoke to him, something that made him feel a little different by the time that he left. And maybe it was a little cliche, but standing in the art gallery amongst the statues, in the dim yellow lighting, Jimin couldn't take his eyes off Yoongi. He found him to be the most beautiful piece of art there.

He lingered behind, admiring Yoongi from a distance. He was standing next to Jae, reading off a small plaque that gave them a little bit of information about the statue in front of them. Jae was just beginning how to read, so of course, she had Yoongi explain everything to her that she didn't understand. it was rather adorable the way Jae would point to something with one hand while clutching Yoongi's hand in the other and go, "Mr. Yoongi," in the softest voice ever.

Right now, Yoongi had Jae in his arms, talking in a low voice, about Laocoon; a Trojan priest, who was attacked alongside his sons, by giant serpents that had been sent by the gods. Jimin didn't know a lot about mythology, but Yoongi had recently acquired a book about the gods, and had been going through it with Jae. It had intrigued her so much that she begged for them to bring her here. Jimin hadn't noticed it before, but standing a couple feet away from them, he realized that Jae and Yoongi were matching. They both wore black pants, and a white t-shirt. It was so simple, and yet there was something about Yoongi that drove him wild. Was it the way that his arms were exposed so that Jimin could see the veins in his arms, or was it the way that Yoongi had brushed his hair back, instead of hiding behind it so that Jimin could make out every facial expression, every smile that Yoongi made. He could see the playful smirks and the way his eyebrows knitted together. This was his boyfriend, his.

Jimin loved Yoongi. There was something so perfect about him - something ethereal; he didn't quite understand how he'd gotten so lucky. He was so grateful for Yoongi.. He'd gone through so much life and somehow managed to come out stronger than before, while remaining loving, patient and kind.

Jimin loved Yoongi. His favourite piece of art that he could admire for hours upon end, and so admire him he did. Jimin admired Yoongi a lot when he wasn't watching. Everything Yoongi did was incredibly attractive. He'd get so caught up in Yoongi's simplest of actions, and start imagining a lot of different scenarios. He did a lot too, when it came to his boyfriend. Yoongi could be making breakfast and suddenly Jimin would imagine what it would be like if Yoongi did that every morning for them. No more waiting for Yoongi to spend the night at their place for it to happen. What if Yoongi moved in with them? Jimin liked the idea of being able to come home to Yoongi after a long day at the studio, and curling up with him on the couch. He liked the idea of getting able to fall asleep next to him at night, and wake up the following morning to him and Jae making breakfast, or watching cartoons. Or just waking up to find Yoongi still passed out in bed next to him, which was a rare occurrence for Jimin, but when it did happen, he loved snuggling up to him and waking him up with soft kisses and praises of love.

Jimin also thought about marrying Yoongi a lot more than usual. He thought about what it would be like to wake up to him and call him his husband. What it would be like to see a wedding band back on his finger, but also one on his, and knowing that Jae would come running into their room, yelling "daddy," because she wanted the attention. He dreamt about what it would be like to adopt a baby with Yoongi. He'd always wanted more kids, but never had much luck with relationships. He could only imagine what it would be like to come home to Yoongi and Jae, but know that there would be another little one in the house for them to love. Yoongi would make an amazing father - he'd already proved that with Jae - although sometimes Yoongi had his doubts. Jimin knew he wanted kids, and Jimin knew that deep down inside, he considered Jae to be like his own. Jimin just wished that he'd be more confident in telling people Jae was his if they asked. The older felt a little uncomfortable - he thought Hwan had more of a claim to that title because he'd been there since the beginning. Jimin thought he was being ridiculous but never pushed the matter. Yoongi would get there on his own.

Jimin thought about growing old with Yoongi, and getting to spend his forever with him. Forever sounded nice to him.

He loved Yoongi so much, and when they older caught his attention from across the room, Jimin gave him the fondest smile ever. It was filled with love and adoration for the man. Yoongi smiled back in response. It wasn't as wide as Jimin's, but it was filled with the same amount of love. He finally wandered over to where the two stood, no longer hiding in the darkness of the dim yellow lights. Yoongi's arm was quick to snake around his waist, pulling him against his side. They'd moved on to a new statue - a female this time, but it didn't matter to Jimin. They could look at a thousand statues that day, and he'd still stare at Yoongi.

sorry that it's such a short chapter, but I really didn't know what else to add to it. I do a lot of chapters from Yoongi's pov almost, and I talk about how much he loves Jimin, but I thought I'd reverse the tables today (: I'm feeling pretty good about the chapters I'm putting out as of lately, and I'm hoping the motivations stays
