JIMIN IS STARING. He can't help himself, not when Yoongi looked like that. His hair was a little longer than what it was when they first met. He'd trimmed it, but it was still long, and fell over his eyes in an attractive, bad boy kind of way. It was still a raven black, and slightly wavy. He looked so mysterious the way he was draped over the chair, arm lent back over the backrest, and one leg crossed over his knee. His grey turtleneck hugged every muscle, and he wore a pair of black sweats. He looked so incredibly comfortable, and Jimin wanted nothing more than to just sit himself in his lap and play with his hair. He thought about doing that a lot if he were going to be honest. There was just something about the idea of getting to be that close to Yoongi that got him going. He can see the metal band around his ring finger - the love that didn't last, as Jimin thought of it. Jimin had to admit the ring made him ten times sexier, and it was even more attractive to know that he wasn't actually married. He was up for grabs as Tae put it. Whoever Yoongi was going to married had been incredibly lucky and yet so stupid to lose him. He wondered what happened, but never asked. It was too personal of a question, and none of his business.

So yeah, Jimin is staring. He's staring at what he believes to be literal perfection, and twice now he'd been caught. Yoongi had glanced up from behind his eyelashes, peering at him through the curtain of hair that covered most of his face, and gave him the smile. The little half-smirk with payfully narrowed eyes. Yoongi looked like your typical bad boy, and Jimin was ready to just let the man take him. Yoongi drew him in with that smile. He loved that smile and it made his heart beat in his chest. Jimin can feel his cheeks heating up in slight embarrassment, and it's when Yoongi catched him staring for a third time that he looks away, face tomato red.

Jimin focused his mind elsewhere, but it's very hard when he knows Yoongi is staring at him from across the room. He thinks back to the first time he and Yoongi had really started to hang out. He wants to blame Taehyung for it, damn bastard knew what he was doing when he invited him to that art gallery back in September. Jungkook was going to be there, that's why Taehyung was going in the first place, but then Yoongi was there, standing quietly behind Jungkook in jeans and a flannel, looking like some sort of sex god, and Jimin was internally cursing tae for not telling him, and himself for not looking more presentable. The next thing Jimin knew, Taehyung was taking off, leaving him all alone with a rather flustered looking Yoongi.

It was awkward at first, as they walked around, but then Yoongi began mumbling off art facts that he'd read somewhere in a book one day, and the atmosphere went from tense to comfortable in seconds. Yoongi asked him about work, and Jae, and Jimin asked about how he was doing. Jimin didn't know what else to ask, considering he didn't know much about Yoongi.

They spent the whole afternoon wandering around the art gallery, and then ditched the younger men to go get coffee. They would be okay on their own, and Yoongi didn't know he could stand for any longer. Jimin teased him about this, and Yoongi just rolled his eyes playfully and replied with, "I don't have a dancer's stamina Jimin,"

They spent the rest of the afternoon talking. Jimin was careful about what questions he asked. He kept them basic, simple, silly. Favourite colour? Black. Flower? Probably sunflowers. Or forget me nots. How do you like your coffee? Black or with two sugars.

By the end of the night, Jimin had worked up enough courage to give Yoongi his phone number - in case he ever wanted to talk, and the rest was history. Jimin began to see Yoongi a lot more after that. Mostly it was to meet up for coffee and to talk. Each time they met up, Jimin learned something new about him. Sometimes it was random facts, other times it was about Yoongi. He learned the older couldn't cook much besides eggs and toast, and that his favourite vegetable was the asparagus. "It sounds funny," Yoongi had told him. "What kind of name is asparagus?!"
