Tranquil Beauty Chapter 19

"Papa!" She laughed as she picked her feet up to run after her father.

"Hahah my baby girl is so big now!"

"Papa! I'm gonna catch you!" She throws all her weight towards her father his gray hair falling onto his face as she grasps him in between her arms. He takes her by the waist and throws her into the air playfully. She laughs as the air flows between her hair and her father smile welcomes her as she falls towards him. He throws her up one more time a little higher than before she closes her eyes as she basks in the enjoyment of the moment. She smiles from ear to ear but she felt as if she were falling too long. She opens her eyes and was now consumed in darkness.

Instead of seeing her fathers smile she is now seeing him being impaled by a long sword. The man behind her father meets her eyes and seeing her terrified expression brings a joyous smile to his face. His long silver hair flies around in delight as blood starts to race down to the ground. Her father grabs the sword by his bare hands as he tries to trudge his way towards her, his face pasted with pain and fear.

"PAPA! PAPA!" She shrieked as she flails around in the dark slowly being consumed and devoured by the darkness.

Tears were brimming out of her eyes as she thrashed her body around. The fear of falling into nothingness swallowed her whole. She felt restricted, her breathing slowed, and she started to feel faint. No, Papa...Papa don't die.

"Y/N...Y/N..."

You wake into consciousness and  was greeted by a beautiful woman with such beautiful green eyes. Her charming smile was enough to calm you. She took your hand and held onto it as if trying to send a message through touch. Her eyes glazing over as if preparing itself to shed.

"You've been asleep for days. I'm so glad you're awake!" The woman gently wraps her arms around you.

"I'm fine."

"I glad. I'm so glad." She returns as tears begin falling down her delicate pale face.

"Where am I?"

"You're at headquarters. We flew you in after you were stabilized at the clinic in Costa Del Sol... Don't you remember anything?" The woman was now wearing a face of concern.

"No... actually I don't remember anything..."

"Oh... Well, that's okay, I guess. It's  been pretty traumatic for you." She says with a gentle tone.

She looked worried and tried to hide the expression with a soft smile. But her eyes were enough to say exactly what she was thinking.

"...No. I mean... I don't remember anything...anything at all...who are you?"

The woman's' face is stricken pale, paler than it was before. She was was trying her best to say something but no words would come from her. The shock even made her tears stop. She takes your hand and holds it in silence.

"You're kidding right? Y/N, you're kidding...right?"

I look at her with an empty expression, I didn't know how else to feel.

With that the beautiful woman swiftly made her way out the room.

I sat up in bed and looked out to the window. The sky was blue with a few rebel clouds floating around. It must be nice outside, I thought. I tried to remember the feeling of warmth, I tried to remember who the woman was earlier, I looked around the room to see if there was something familiar. Nothing. But there was this constant ringing in my ear, it was tiny, miniscule, but it was there and it was annoying.

She said I was asleep for days, why? And she spoke to me with such familiarity...maybe she was a friend?

Let's go with what I know right now. I have *hair color* long hair. I have ten fingers. Two legs. Ten toes. I'm at a place called Headquarters, I'm tired, and I'm hurting right now.
