Final Fantasy Tranquil Beauty (Sephiroth X Reader)

Tranquil Beauty Chapter 16

"INCOMING!! MISSILES! EVERYONE BRACE YOURSELVES!" 

Sephiroth, Cloud, and Cid braced themselves for the impact. The flight getting off the ground was rocky from the start but now that the chase has commenced the pilot of the airship they were pursuing was a good one. The Highlander swerved left and right as bullets and missiles from the other ship were being rained on them. The adrenaline was rushing through their veins, this was their comfort zone. As the battle continues on the ground Sephiroth felt relieved that somehow he was able to rely on his comrades. 

"Cid we can't keep going like this. The Highlander wont last much longer." Sephiroth says.

"Then what would you like me to do your majesty?!" Cid yells as he swerves to the left to deflect some missiles sent their way. 

"Flank them to the left and I'll handle the rest. Cloud, once I give you a signal, board them." Sephiroth commands. 

He rushes to the back of the Highlander to change into a SOLDIER uniform as his yukata was not a fitting battle attire. His emotion was fluctuating. He has never cared for another being like this before and the thought of losing her had him leaning towards insanity. He wanted to hurt them, whoever 'them' was they will pay for this. 

As he steps out onto the deck the cold chill wind blowing into his face rushed his adrenaline even further. He crouch down to keep his stability as Cid brought the Highlander closer to the airship that held Y/N. 

The airship then maneuvers closer to the Highlander which Sephiroth found odd, but was in his favor. He inches towards the edge of the Highlander but before he could execute his next move the airship flies above them and opens its hatch. Several enemies come jumping down ready to collide and fight with Sephiroth. 

Sephiroth brings Masamune above his head and deflects the first wave of enemies. They push him back further down the deck and now he is surround by the dozens. He brings forth his thunder materia and casts it onto his sword as he thrusts himself onto the enemy. The force throws out a few of the men and now he finds himself surrounded. He casts an aero to his left forcing the enemies to fly off of the ship then swings masamune to the right to deflect enemy bullets. One bullet slightly bounces off of Masamune and makes its way towards him, the bullet grazes the skin on cheek, slowly tiny specks of blood comes out. 

He gives out a confident scoff and turns to the men who dare try to fight him.

"You pathetic human." He says arrogantly.

He casts a fira and now the men are burning to death, stupid humans you dare defy me -he thought. Just when he was about to make the leap to the other airship Cloud comes rushing out.

"SEPHIROTH! You need to come see this, NOW!" He yells. 

Both men rush back to the main cabin as they enter they find that there was a person on the communications screen, his crooked smile and white coat just beaming with pride, Hollander.

"I will kill you Hollander. Give her back to me NOW!" Sephiroth screeches, his eyes burning with rage.

"Now, now Sephiroth, lets act civilized here. Let's not put her in anymore danger than she is already. You don't have to worry, I will take care of her." He says, his crooked smile getting wider as he watches Sephiroth fall into despair. 

"What the hell do you want with her Hollander? She is innocent to all of this, let her go." Sephiroth says through clenched teeth. 

"I will not let you have her, I will not let you dirty her. You and her father do not DESERVE her presence.  I AM HER FATHER! I CREATED HER! SHE. IS. MINE." Hollander finishes his eyes bloodshot from yelling.
