Chapter 4: Day Before Surgery.

Louis:

I woke up on the living room couch. I had a terrible headache from all the drinking last night. Shot glasses knocked over on the coffee table, liquor bottles on the floor, and pizza boxes scattered around the room. The sight was horrendous. The sun light beamed though the window like a light house shining in the dark. It was blinding. Zayn was still passed out on the other side of the couch. I looked over at the clock. SHIT! It was 12 in the afternoon. We needed to be at the studio at 10. I slowly got up because my head was still throbbing. I went upstairs to wake Harry up. When I opened the bedroom door, I saw Chloe in Harry's arms sleeping. I wish that I was Harry at the moment. Holding onto Chloe tightly, kissing her, laughing with her. Everything. But she has Harry to make her happy. I brought myself back to reality. I knocked on the door. I heard Chloe groan and cuss under her breath.

"Hey, we're late. We need to go to the studio."

"Ugh, fuck." I saw Chloe slowly sit up.

She was wearing Harry's Ramones tee. God, she looked so sexy.

"MMM. Morning, Lou." She smiled at me. Her voice was still sleepy.

"Morning. Wake up Harry. We gotta go."

"Uh, alright."

She fell backwards moaning. I left the room. Before I did, I saw Chloe wake Harry up with kisses. I really wished that I was Harry.

Chloe:

I woke up to Louis’ knocks. My head was throbbing madly. I swore that I could hear it. I realized I had TOO much last night. I looked to my left, seeing Harry still asleep. His hair all tousled up, lips partially parted, and his arms around my waist. He looked so peaceful. I began to smile until all of a sudden Lou interrupts my train of thoughts.

"Hey, we're late. We need to go to the studio."

"Ugh, fuck." I slowly sat up.

"MMM. Morning, Lou." I smiled at him.

"Morning. Wake up Harry. We gotta go."

"Uh, alright."

I groaned loudly. I didn’t want to wake up, but I had to. Today’s the day before Lyla’s surgery. I need to be there for her. But how? I have a really bad hangover. I slowly got on top of Harry, straddling his waist.

“MMM. Harry. Wake up, babe.” I whispered into his ear. He groaned.

“Five more minutes babe.”

“No, c’mon we’re already two hours late.”

“Ugh. Shit.” He slapped his forehead.

“I have a headache and I need you to quit complaining. Hurry up and get ready.”

I headed to the bathroom to get ready. I heard the bed sheets shuffle around. I guess Harry’s getting out. I was brushing my teeth when he came in. He walked in and looked at me and walked out. Weirdo. I finished brushing my teeth and washed my face. Harry came back in and had some medicine in one hand and a cup of water in the other. Aw. He remembered that I had a headache. I took the cup and medicine out of his hands. Then, I placed them on the counter and turned back to Harry. I wrapped my arms around his torso and he did the same to me. He had a smirk on his face when I looked up. I gave him a ‘good morning kiss’. I smiled into the kiss and so did he. We both pulled back giggling. I took the medicine and walked out of the bathroom so that Harry could get ready. I grabbed my bra and turned on the TV to check the weather. It’s supposed to be cold today. I went to the closet and grabbed my sweater, a pair of jeans, and combat boots. I looked in the mirror to look at my face. I looked horrendous. How could Harry even stand looking at me right now? I went back to the closet to get a scarf. I then put my hair into a sock bun. I curled my lashes and applied some mascara. That’s all. Oh! A little mist of perfume couldn’t hurt. Done. I felt prettier now. I smiled when I looked at myself in the mirror.
