There was something about the air, more like in the air. It seemed to fill my lungs beyond capacity. It was calming. Standing with sand between my toes I felt peace. Michaels hands wrapped around my waist, only exaggerating the effect. Everyone else was busy lugging bags into the house, but I was completely drawn to the water. I had forgotten what I was doing as the salty air entered my nostrils.

I looked up at Michael, who starred, just as mesmerized as I was, at the shoreline. It's funny how a body of water can be so beautiful. Mystery, I believe, is part of the attraction.

"Are you guys just going to stand there, or are you going to help?" Calum broke us from our daze and he struggled to balance two suitcases.

"Yeah. Sorry." I hopped back onto the boardwalk and grabbed an armful of luggage.

The house was massive. Each room was open and inviting with huge panels of glass that overlooked the ocean. The other rooms were already claimed, but I didn't complain. Michael put our bags down in the only room on the left side of the house. I threw myself down on the bed and smiled up at the ceiling.

"You're so damn cute." I heard him chuckle lightly as he layed down next to me. My blushing minimized as I became accustomed to statements like those, nonetheless, they still caused the same rush as they did before. I appreciated him not knowing exactly what I was feeling, instead, he now had to discover it himself.

Michael's eyes were bright and happy and I couldn't help but to stare into them. I sat up, brining our faces to the same level. He tucked stray hair behind my hair, which has become my favorite habit of his. He pressed his forehead to mine before softly pushing down onto the bed. Our lips crashed together, almost expertly, unlike before.

The door swung open and Michael sighed in frustration. I sat up, smirking as I chewed on the gum that was previously in his mouth.

"Shit. Sorry...I was just wondering if you saw my bag?" Everett hovered in the doorway. I spotted the red bag in the corner and pointed in the direction of the object.

"I guess I grabbed it when I was bringing stuff in. My bad." I apologized. Everett swung the bag over her shoulder.

"Just don't get her pregnant." I threw a pillow out her and she ran out of the door.

"I swear that happens every fucking time." Michael looked at his hands in his lap.

"We will get a moment alone eventually." I laughed lightly and rested my head in his firm shoulder.

"I'm just glad you're here with me." He smiled.

"Me too." Things felt so right between us, and no matter how much being with him scared me, it's all that I wanted. I used to look forward to the future, but now I just wanted to be permanently trapped in the present with Michael.

"We are going swimming." Ashton yelled from the living room. I jumped from the bed and unzipped my suitcase and grabbed my favorite dark blue bikini. Michaels eyes widened.

"I can't wait to see you in that."

"Only if your lucky." I winked and ran to the bathroom. Michael smacked my butt playfully and I shut the door to the bathroom before he could come in.
When I walked out he was waiting anxiously for me in a pair of black swim trunks. I took in how good he looked good as he starred back at me.

"You need some sunscreen?" I asked, throwing a towel over my shoulder.

"Hell no. Let's go." He stood impatiently by the door.

"You're gonna get burned." I stated
He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder and ran outside and onto the beach. It reminded me of the first night that I met him and I smiled at the memory. I tossed the towel onto the sand and giggled wildly as water consumed us as we fell into it.
